I really loved this product it gave me great hold and no build up. It even held up to me sweating from working out. I wrapped my locs in a cotton scarf to work out. After I gave my hair time to dry before removing the scarf and my twist was just a little loose. Now it does have a weird smell not bad but weird I think its the aloe. I have 4C /4B hair it's a mixture and this works great

Update: My previous review said that a little didn't go a long way but everything else about the product was amazing. Now, I think that maybe I was wrong! I used to do mini-twists, keep them in for a week, and then wear a twist-out for a week. Now, I keep them in for two weeks at a time using the same amount of product and go another week with the twist-out (but even it could last longer). I still do everything the same except I oil my twists and my scalp every day (personal preference). Also, I've done several braid-outs with it now, and they turned out even better.In case anyone needs this, here’s how I apply it for mini twists on my low porosity 4a and 4b hair:I start on freshly cleansed and deep-conditioned hair. It goes on best when my hair is damp but closer to dry. Otherwise, the twists fluff up a lot sooner and don’t last as long. I start with a pea-sized amount to start and rub it between my fingers to soften, then I smooth it into the section from root to tip, adding a little as I go so that all the hair gets enough product. Then you just twist! I oil my scalp while I’m doing them and then every other night to cut down on frizz and take a little oil to the twists every other day for frizz as well (even though they don’t really need it). For twists that last a long time, you’re going to use a lot of product (after 5 applications, I’m a little over halfway through) but it’s SO worth it. You could use these for braid-outs as well. I just don’t have the patience to take down braids.This product is better than ANY product I’ve ever used for my twists. The twists and the twist-outs last so long that when my wash day comes, I don’t even want to wash my hair because it STILL looks amazing and defined. It smells incredible too, even after a few days. Super defined, super soft, SUPER juicy, and barely any frizz!

I love this gel!! I started using it on my starter locs. It has worked well on my hair. It has a decent hold and has definitely helped with the unraveling but without making my hair crunchy. In fact, my hair feels soft (love that). I really like the consistency of the gel and a little goes a long way. So glad I decided to try it!

Wish the smell was nicer but it doesn’t stink. Will but again.

The texture of this paste is great. The hold is amazing not just for retwisting. I use this as an edge control as well. The product is light and doesn’t create buildup. Natural ingredients that moisturize and it’s worthy.

The product itself seems okay I haven’t used it as yet. My order got delayed/pushed back so I had to resort to another way of getting my hair done but product is okay…… will update on product use soon

I have (4c hair type) microlocs and my loctician loves this product for my hair. It's not too slippery/greasy that she can't grip my hair, and it leaves my hair nice and moiturized after retightenings. I will definitely purchase this again.
