This has only just arrived and I bought it to replace a different type which had plastic inserts to hold the appliances, which were not strong enough and broke. This one looks much stronger. It is a neat unit and will comfortably hold Iphones, kindle and newer Ipads. However the slots are not large enough for my older Ipad but this just sits behind it. , so not a problem.

It really does charge very fast !You can’t charge 4 iPads in the slots as it falls over !But you can charge 5 iPads just laying them flatSo no harm done . Works fine for 5 iPhones or keeping toast Luke warm

We have had the 5 slot model of this charging station now for a couple of weeks and are really pleased with it.It copes well with our assortment of iPads & iPhones.I have used it to charge MacBook, but would recommend not placing it in one of the inner slots, to avoid any risk of overbalancing, if that is the only item in the rack. We have the grey/white version and it looks good enough to leave out "on display" at all times. It occupies very little room but has freed up a lot of desk space, got rid of lots of training cable and only occupies one power socket.It is a very solid and stable piece of equipment and, unlike some other models we considered, it has an on/off switch.All in all a good piece of kit

Now there are 4 of us with phones and gadgets that need charging I was fed up of the wires hanging everywhere. This solves the problem. On reading reviews it seems the newer models like this one have widened gaps making it easier to slot phones in with their cases on. Most normal snap on type cases for iPhones will still easily fit it the slots. My husbands case is a fold over leather type and it doesn’t fit but he just lays it on top. We use this to charge other things too like EarPods and charging boxes. Most of these don’t fit but I lay them next to it. Still much tidier if you buy extra short cables to use on it. We’ve been using it for a few months without problem. There is an on off switch on it but we normally have something sitting charging so rarely turn it off. Highly recommend it. Great purchase.

Good use of space / features; slots are wide enough to fit ipad pro (although I would prefer an option of an extension/support for the bigger ipad pro) , ipad, iphone with otterbox case (at an angle). the fins are well spaced and appear sturdy. I have only given this 4* over all as I have only used the item for 12 hours so far. Indicator lights work well for each plug. It's also a good size for travelling, I have a number of USB port plugs which I usually use, but this all in one design will make managing devices on the go a lot more manageable.

The station charges quickly, as promised, and doesn't really need any setting up -- extremely easy to use. The slots for devices are very roomy -- I can easily fit all mine. The power button means you don't waste energy when it's not in use. My last charger was wooden and the slots were a bit flimsy and broke under regular use -- this one looks like it will last and last. If it stands up after a few months, I'll upgrade the durability rating to 5 stars.
