10 days in Costa Rica hiking, walking, swimming, tubing, horseback riding and we all loved them. 3 of us, myself and 2 teenage daughters. Different feet shapes, sizes and mobility and worked well for all of us. Comfortable, didn't push into pronation. shock absorption, lightweight, water drained easily. Easy to get on and off and the back adjustment was a big help for size adjustment and removing to remove sediment that may enter. Good on different terrains and did well on the slippery rocks in the falls. Closed toe for more protection from critters and rocks. Dry fairly quickly especially IF you remove the insoles. We will keep these and wear again. Highly recommend! BTW, I'm a Physical Therapist who works with orthotic fittings and for an over the counter shoe, these did very well for support.

My boyfriend got these in men's last summer for a hike we took in Mexico through waterfalls and streams and he raved about them, so I decided to try some women's. I bought a few different brands of water shoes, but these were by far the best quality, most supportive, and thickest sole/tread for hiking. The rest were more like rugged water socks but thin soles that I can feel everything I step on, while these shoes feel like I could hike and step on rocks without an issue. My only problem was that one shoe felt perfect, while the other one felt like it wanted to rub on my heel, so I'm ordering another pair just to see if maybe it was a fluke (crossing fingers), but even then I would still keep them. I haven't used them outside yet, but my boyfriend said they were perfect for him.

I am most comfortable wearing shoes that have a wide toebox, but it was very hard to find athletic sandals with a wide toebox.These are the best thing I have found so far as far as room for your toes. The side area is actually a little big. I noticed it sticks out a little bit (pictured) it doesn’t bother me at all.I wear 9 and got 9. Good fit.I took the soles out because they don’t seem necessary and just got dirty. I might try to clean them and stick them back in, but they are comfortable without the soles as well. I live on a gravel rocky driveway that I walk a lot. They seem to hold up well enough for that …obviously not quite as well as an actual hiking shoe would… but the soul is thick enough that I can walk comfortably.

I like that their light weight but their rather wide. I normally wear a size 6 so that's what I bought ,yet because their so wide they are somewhat loose and big on my feet.

They were comfortable when I tried them in the house, and I think they would have worked fine for hiking on our vacation, but ultimately I returned them. They were expensive for what they are, in my opinion.

Nice looking shoe,very lite weight. Not the size I ordered though-I ordered a 10 and got a 10W— Too wide for my foot and ankle straps are just for looks, cannot tighten as the Velcro is too small to adjust the strap. I’m still going to give it a try but not happy overall.

THE BEST!!! I’ve always had issues with shoes hammer toe, not fitting properly, etc., no matter the shoe. These shoes were golden!!! I took them on a backpacking hiking trip and we had to scale a mountain, wet terrain, then on mossy rocks in the river, swimming up stream, etc. these had excellent grip and the footing was light and felt light even when when wet. Love these shoes and now raving to friends. Can’t believe I got so lucky with these, I had an REI shoe that could do both land and water, but wasn’t 100% convinced they would do the trick. I ordered these shoes last minute, tried them on and I knew instantly they would be great. I even got a hard time of “oooo using new shoes on a big trip, wrong move” from my friends, but you have to start somewhere and I’m glad I jumped in with these. SO GOOD!!

Good quality. I have wider feet and they were not super tight. Yet tight enough to stay on in moving water. I have worn them walking around all day not even near water. I would definitely buy again
