They work good but they rattle a little. They didn't come with new bushings I think that isn't right.

Parts fell out of insufficient packing
The struts are fine. The new nut for attaching the top of strut to mounting plate fell out because box was not sealed up well enough to hold such a heavy piece.

Great ride
Absolute exact replacement of what was on the car. Other than being so tight they were almost impossible to get off I have zero complaints, besides they’re Monroe’s, how can you go wrong?!?

The ride is much improved and I feel a bit better.
These definitely needed replacing in my 2001 Ford Mustang GT and the difficulty of that task is Ford's fault, not Monroe's so I cannot blame them. They came with everything I needed them to and thanks to many helpful contributors on YouTube, these struts were straightforward to install.During removal of the old struts, if you find the top nut difficult to remove given the foolishly lame slot design, just apply a liberal amount of WD40 to that top nut and imagine giving the Ford engineer who designed that system a massive wedgie while you use your impact wrench to zip that top nut off. Sure, that approach will likely ruin the strut you are removing, but if it was a good strut, you wouldn't be replacing it now would you?
