Fast and easy to use.
Loved this thing. I would have liked a larger well for the batter, but it came as described and worked very well. There is a little temperature difference between some of the wells. Though that is to be expected with an electric coil device like this.

Fun to make appetizers.
Fun way to make appetizers for a party. Worked great and heated evenly. Best to have a squeeze bottle to add the batter.

Takoyaki at Home!
I could not have been more impressed at how fast and even the heating element worked. Everything cooked up fast and it’s been a lot of fun making Takoyaki and pancake puffs with the family. The body is made of metal and the unit is small but built super sturdy. We’re really happy with this purchase!

Easy to cook but hard to clean
The heat may be uneven but if you warm it up to the highestevel then lower the heat level, it doesn't bother much. The biggest issue is the cooking plate does not come off and you can't really clean it.

A Delicious Delight with a Few Caveats
After discovering the "Takoyaki and Ebiyaki Recipe | Cooking with Dog" on YouTube, I decided to give it a try with my new Takoyaki maker machine. The results were fantastic! This machine has the capacity to make 18 takoyaki balls at once, which is impressive, although it does take a bit longer than expected. However, the wait is well worth it for the delicious outcome. One of the standout features of this machine is its non-stick coating, which makes cooking, rotating, and removing the takoyaki balls a breeze. The convenience it offers in the cooking process is unparalleled. However, there are a couple of minor issues to be aware of. Firstly, the entire unit heats up after a while, posing a potential hazard to surfaces. I learned the hard way and nearly burned a hole in my tablecloth. Using a trivet underneath is essential for safety.Additionally, the two picks that come with the machine leave something to be desired. Upon closer inspection, I noticed small plastic frays on them, which raised concerns about their durability. As a solution, I opted to use bamboo skewer sticks instead, which proved to be a more reliable choice. In conclusion, the Takoyaki maker machine delivers delicious results with its efficient cooking process and non-stick coating. However, precautions should be taken to prevent overheating and the included picks may not be of the highest quality. Overall, it's a worthwhile investment for any takoyaki enthusiast.

Poor quality, single use
Used one time. The plastic on the sticks melted and the appliance stopped working at the end. One side was very hot and the other side was barely hot.
