God of Wrath has been one of my most awaited releases for 2022 since finding out who the story would revolve around. As it goes, certain books are often hyped in the run up to release, but sadly fail to live up to the expectations set. When I say this isn’t the case with GoW, you can rest assured that this book is the exact opposite.Diving right in, Jeremy Volkov should be the blueprint for all dark romance authors going forward.Rina hit the nail on the head when she delivered this character to us, Jer can give his father a run for his money. He is mouthwatering, swoon-worthy and incredibly sexy.This man is possessive and just as obsessed with Cec as I am with him, I can fully admit that Rina has ruined all other fictional men for me as I will NEVER get over Jeremy Volkov.There was an air of mystery shrouding this character prior to this book, but as we get to know him, it’s so easy to see that the sweet, protective boy from VOD is still there; he just craves a little love. Jeremy is extremely caring and over the top protective of those he holds dear and close to his heart. Whilst he is a man of his word, he is certainly not someone who should be crossed; he proves time and time again just how ruthless he can be if anyone dares to hurt those who are his.Cecily Knight on the other hand is the sweetest, most caring friend that you can come across. Whilst her friendship with Ava has been seen in the previous two books, we truly understand the depths of how close these two are and it’s so heartwarming- they’re more like sisters than best friends who root for each other’s safety and happiness.Cec is undeniably everything that is good in this world, which made it that much harder to unravel her past and understand her nature.The more you get inside Cecily’s head, you can make sense of the chaos and struggle.Her strength is what makes you root for her happy ever after and her loyalty to those that she cares about is unwavering, which makes her easily loved by all of her family and friends.When both of Jeremy and Cecily are together there are literal fireworks ignited with gasoline going off. Their romance is scorchingly hot and dangerous, we are in for a deadly but unforgettable ride. They are very yin and yang, two halves to a broken heart, both with similar unresolved childhood trauma that the other helps to heal and overcome. I fell in love with how open and honest they are with each other, whilst there were misunderstandings, they eventually overcame them and wholly accepted each other. They proved that you can be more than just the labels place on you, they don’t define who you are or your morals.Together these two are just perfect, they bring a sense of peace to each other that they have found lacking from the world. Despite their animalistic urges and chases they are the calm each one craves in an otherwise uncertain world.Apart from the main couple, the second best thing about this book was the visit by Adrian. I like to think he popped in to once again to remind me why he is the best father (IMO). His advice and care for his son was so unlike what I had expected, his loving words melted my heart and showed me that no matter how old his heir becomes, Jeremy will always remain Adrian’s malysh. This book is by far the best in the series and not one to be missed.

Another fantastic book and couple! Cecily and Jeremy's relationship starts off rough and end with love. They are both trying to find themselves in a world where they have to be something else. Amazing

This is an amazing story of pain and sensitive subjects that are broached so well and makes you fall in love with them as much as they fall in love with each other

However, the Cecily we meet in GOW definitely has another side! Throughout this book we get to see Cecily grow and accept who she is and what she wants. For some reason she is the first character in this series that I just could predict what she would be like but by the end I loved her.Jeremy, Jeremy, Jeremy... I knew I would love you and your bossy attitude and damn was I right! This man is HOT and the scenes between him and Cecily were even HOTTER! Jeremy is very much someone that views the world as black and white and never forgives when he's been wronged. However, watching him become more and more obsessed with Cecily and slowly showing his softer side to her gave me all the butterflies.Going into this book there was only two things on my mind:1) STALKER2) PRIMAL KINKI had so many ideas about what could happen in this story and so many of them were met, but I was sad that certain things did happen...A girl can only dream right? This pair were a whirlwind of emotions that left me holding my breath more times than I could count.There weren't as many scenes with the rest of the REU and TKU bunch which was sad but can we just take a moment for the parents chapters in this book! OBSESSED!

Gripping characters and story like the previous books. Nice level of spice. Though could be very triggering for those who are a victim of SA. Trigger warning research must be done.

This one is intense, it feels more intense than the first two. I’m not sure why but it really does. I didn’t think it would be Cecily pared with Jeremy but they make a fabulous couple. The twists and turns make for a great read once more
