I don't know what Elsie Silver puts in her stories but her characters, plot, setting...everything about them makes me happy! I love her writing. I love that she makes every character sound like a real person but also filling her stories with so much positivity that it makes me crave for more. They're wholesome, sweet, fun, filled with humour and sprinkled with right amount of spice. I love the friends group so much (both the men and women) I love that this series is about single dads yet each story and character is different from each other. No wonder her books are so well loved. They're all so worth it 💜 Review: Elsie Silver never ceases to amaze me! - Elsie Silver’s stories have always filled me with so much joy, and this book was no exception. I thought nothing could ever top Wild Eyes, but the author somehow manages to surprise me with every new release. Wild Side is an enemies to lovers, small town romance that also blends emotional depth with the powerful themes of grief, loss and healing. The chemistry was through the roof from the start, and all the small moments, shared grief, and quiet ways the MCs begin to trust each other made me root for them so hard. Tabitha is such a strong and inspiring character, and her loyalty and love for the people she cares about is truly admirable. Rhys’s vulnerability, and the way he goes all soft and protective, made me adore him even more. Watching them fall for one another and their interactions with Milo are the best parts of this book for me. The author also handles the heavier themes with such care and warmth that it made me appreciate the story even more. The emotional moments made my heart ache but their witty banter had me giggling and kicking my feet. I’ve always loved a good small town romance, and this one has officially been added to that list. The found family trope was also written perfectly and the epilogue made my happy-ending-loving heart feel so full. Overall, I had a great time reading this book, and if you’re someone who enjoys the tropes of marriage of convenience, found family, enemies to lovers, and emotional stories that leave you feeling all warm and comforting, then you should totally check this out!

Rhys & Tabitha are made for each other🤌🏻
Okay so I din knew how wrestling works, like how even thou being scripted show they have to do something they don’t like or the injuries are real & the fight are real.I always thought the punches & injuries are fake to. Elsie silver introduced me to the world of wrestling 🥹. My opinions on them is changed now💗. People get into situation relationships, they got into situation marriage🤌🏻. How can someone be so selfless,RHYS you stole my heart ,how can someone be so considerate whom they donno ,the way he is with Milo & also how he’s so considerate about Tabitha’s emotion, where to find someone like you in real 😭. How he grew up ,how he suffered he din wanted the same thing happening to Milo.Caring for someone whom they are not related to is selfless, Tabitha our savage queen, the amazing chef she saved money & got her own restaurant how amazing is that. I totally connected to the way she suppressed her emotion of her sisters death for the well being of others because she wanted to be strong for others,if she broke down who will handle other kinda mind.I salute to her even after knowing her sister’s intentions she still loved her the same ,I wouldn’t & couldn’t be able to do that. I love the scene where they were shaping clouds after Rhys opened up to her😭cute af🥹. I loved the cameo of other book cuties here💗

comfy read
3.75/5⭐ I had a hard time getting into this book at first, but after reading the first few chapters, I was invested. It was my third book by Elsie Silver and all of them had instant attraction tropes, which has never really appealed to me, but after the first few chapters, the story became captivating. Loved the way personal growth and the complexities of unexpected family dynamics is written. Where Tabitha is independent, loves her family fiercely, and is outspoken, Rhys has a brooding demeanor, enigmatic and stoic exterior. He let her hate him, let her believe the worst, because he knew her grief needed an outlet more than it needed the truth. He took her anger, her pain, without ever defending himself, because he knew she needed someone to blame more than she needed the truth. He was her anchor. And in return, she showed him what it meant to have a family, she showed him the warmth of belonging, the quiet strength of having someone who stays, who cares, who sees you at your worst and never turns away. Their banter, the playful bickering, the teasing was just as adorable and beautiful as their vulnerable moments, the way they let their walls down for each other. Loved the friendship bond between the girls and the boys. I'm so excited for Bash's book.

Too long, mundane storyline
The storyline was fresh at the outset, but lost its sheen with mundane themes, lack of well-though characters and interactions — and for a book over 300 pages — it asked for too much of a time investment

A nostalgic experience of wrestling
Elsie did it again. This time not only did she slay on the small town romance, she outdid everything else with the wrestling nostalgia. There were dozens of times I bawled my eyes out during the read. I don't want to spoil much but if anyone wants to bring back their forgotten obsession on WWE, get the book ASAP. I had a walk through my memory lane when I used to watch WWE with my brothers and they even tried some unharmful stunts on me too. Thank you Elsie for bringing back those memories. Now I guess I need to go watch some wrestling memories.

6🌟 MY FAVOURITE ELSIE SILVER BOOK YET!!! I absolutely loved this book! This is by far my favourite Elsie silver book yet! 🤍 I had such an emotional connection to this story. The love story was incredibly beautiful. Slow burn, found family, marriage of convenience, all my favourite tropes. & as someone who has had their life personally affected by addiction, this story hit close to home. Elsie silver depicted what it’s like to love/loose someone to addiction perfectly. I was not expecting to feel so deeply while reading this book. ♾️ stars honestly

Everytime I think I've read elsie's best book she proves me wrong. I loved the raw feelings in this book. I was picturing so many different scenarios that could happen because the plot wasn't predictable, and I enjoyed being at the edge of my seat. Rhys had me screaming and kicking my feet like a lunatic! Elsie outdone herself with him. Tabby as a FMC was amazing! This series is strongly becoming one of my favorites

📚BOOK REVIEW📚 Wild Side - @authorelsiesilver "Does love start off as obsession? Because that’s what I am. Obsessed with my wife" "When I become Wild Side, everything falls into place." I absolutely adored this book. It was such a heartwarming story of grief, loss, healing and love. I loved every second of this story and think this is my favourite in the series. When Tabitha's sister dies, she finds herself looking after nephew Milo. She's barely getting by as she struggles to find a balance with running her restaurant and parenthood. But when her guardianship is questioned by Rhys, she will not take it lying down. They agree to marry in the best interests of Milo. Tabitha is a feisty character but she's vulnerable deep down as she navigates through her grief. She has some excellent verbal sparring with Rhys and some of her comebacks were so comical. Rhys was supportive but had a troublesome past and really struggled with letting people in. He too was vulnerable but reading about them learning to trust and navigate their issues was truly beautiful. Their journey together was beautiful, honest, raw, heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once. This book was slow burn at its best and I couldn't put it down. I was rooting for them and wanted so much for them to get their happy ever after. I went through all the emotions with this book and I think that's a testament to how well this book was written. I loved it and catching up with the characters from the previous book was a real treat also. I liked how the book tackled addition and didn't gloss over it but it was dealt with in a tasteful way but the emotions and consequences that came as a result was very honest. The book contains the following tropes so I would definitely read this if you enjoy these; 💚Single guardian 💚Small town romance 💚Marriage of convenience 💚Enemies to lovers 💚Found Family A really great read and if you listen on audio, you get the amazing @jasonclarkereads and @ms_brentmoor as narrators and they did an amazing job bringing these characters to life. They were excellent.
