Very impressed with the performance AND noise level of this SUMYOUNG Cordless Leaf Blower for De-Walt 20V Max Battery. First, this is no louder than most of the leaf blowers on the market today. Second, the tip of the tube must be attached for full blowing power. See Photo. (Take note SUMYOUNG, all your photos show it being used WITHOUT the tip, WRONG). This is a Jet Vectoring device (like that on a jet engine) which concentrates and directs (vectors) the output of the spinning fan. With this tip in place you will get about 3x the "blowing power" than without it. I can blow DRY leaves 20ft across my driveway no problem. As for the tubes not staying together, I used the tip of a razor knife to "grab" the locking tab and pull up on it. It then "clicked" into place and has remained so. So again, this MUST be used with the "tip" in place for FULL power. My overall honest assessment. Excellent product ! Buy it, You'll like it.............UPDATE: Again it seems SUMYOUNG has it wrong. Someone mentioned the "foot" screws don't fit right ? That's because AGAIN the pictures of the unit are WRONG. They have the "foot" on backwards. (See Pic 2).Install the foot my way and you'll be just fine................

This blower is yellow and uses Dewalt batteries. It is not as powerful as the real deal. However, for the fraction of the price, it is a GREAT value. Let's be honest, the toll is meant to aid in cleanup activities, and it excels in that operation. The noise level is louder than the Dewalt, be effectively cleans. The trigger / lever switch is amazing. Great tool that uses a quality battery.

I took a gamble and bought this knockoff vs the Dewalt blower and I am super glad I did. It looks exactly like an Dewalt and uses all my Dewalt 20v batteris, but is an 1/3rd of the Dewalts cost. Awesome power and super light. Now, there are two minor negatives. 1. The screws that come in the package to hold the bottom bracket on are too short. I just used some longer screws that I already had and those worked great. Or you could easily just leave the bottom bracket off as it doesn’t affect the function of the blower. 2. I read some reviews on poor fit of the blower tube fittings and how they don’t snap together well. That is true, but simple reach inside the tube and press outward and the tabs snap right into place. Final review, a couple small quirks, but still 100% satisfied. Almost as much power as my gas blower and easily twice as much power as 200 CFM electric blower that I have.

Way too weak. Used my own Makita batteries even the Hi Capacity ones die very quickly.

I had low expectations for this and I can say I’m not disappointed. The battery life sucks, it runs about 10 to 15 min. Not very strong, was hoping to also use for drying my vehicles. It will blow the water out of the side mirrors and mostly off the wheels. It works good for blowing off the patio and walkways. The fan blades create a high pitched whine that is not very easy on the ears. I found that placing a rag over the blade guard cuts down alot of the noise but you do sacrifice some CFM. It is however a $65 blower and like I said, I had low expectations. For the price it’s not horrible.

I have two of dewalt blowers including the mock of this one. The only downside to this model is the hand grip missing rubber and the noise is definitely louder than dewalt. But this is the jam for saving $100. It doesn’t have as much fine tuning with the trigger but it has everything else. I just wrapped the grip with electrical tape. It does come with a handle that lets the tool sit nice and balanced on a flat surface. The screws that mount the handle WILL NOT work. It comes with a little screw driver. They should eliminate those screws and the driver and just throw some number 8 x 1” Phillips head screws in the box. Maybe drop the price because it comes with faulty hardware. Overall I like it, I wish it was quieter but it saved me money and will work for home use.

Despite the size and looking like a bazooka, it's actually pretty lightweight and easy to manage. At first, I had all of the attachments on, but I preferred the performance (and the sound) with just the bare tool. Seems to do a decent job with grass clippings and random debris on my patio. I don't know how it compares to a real Makita, but compared to my corded Black and Decker, this is way more convenient and seems to work better. The downside is that it drains batteries pretty fast, but I don't think you can fault it too much for that considering it's a function of having good power.

What turned out to be a major dislike of this leaf blower was the poor quality of the product. By that I'm specifically referring to two major issues. First, there were supposed to be 4 screws for attaching the base; there were only 3. And the screws provided were the wrong size - too small. They did not grab in the holes in the body of the blower. Second, and most significant, is the fact that when the battery pack was attached, the blower motor started. That's not supposed to happen. Despite playing with the trigger and the auto-speed control lever, nothing would allow the blower motor to stop running. The only way to get that to happen was by removing the battery.Thankfully, a replacement unit was sent out the next day and it worked as expected... just as the first one should have. Quality should be free and part of the product's selling attributes; it's the LACK of Quality that costs - both the seller and buyer - in wasted time and effort and shipping activity.
