Swiss Barbell 45lb Black Steel Barbell

This is a great bar. It is a copy of the Kabuki Kadillac bar without the $600 price tag. The Gear for Fit bar beats the competition for several reasons:1. This bar is 45 pounds so plate math is easy.2. It’s rackable. Fits on my wide Fringe Sport rack without difficulty.3. The handles have a consistent knurl, very comfortable.4. The chrome sleeves are 2 inches in diameter so you don’t have to buy new clamp collars to secure your weight plates.5. The bar was well packed for shipping and easy to put together.6. No rattles, very solid, beast of a bar.7. Neutral grip choices so easier on the shoulders.8. It’s affordable. You can’t beat that $179 price tag with free shipping.The sleeves have a chrome finish that scratches easy, but there is no flaking. I would prefer a zinc coating.The Bells of Steel arch nemesis doesn’t even come close to the quality and features of this bar.

I love this bar! Solidly built! You will pay double for a swiss bar that is half as good. If you are looking for a tank of a swiss bar, this is the one!

Great value for the money. Came banged up some. But, it will get that way from being used.

Takes some time to get used too,After a shoulder injury was hoping the bar would help,Not really , so now I'm stuck with dumbbells for pressing movements.

I was nervous to buy this barbell because the lack of reviews but the specs of it seemed much better than the Bells of Steel Arch Nemesis bar which was what I compared it to.When it arrived it did not work. The hole were drilled in the barbell in the wrong spots to allow a bolt to attach it to the sleeve. I though i'd been ripped off and would have to waste my time hauling it to UPS for a return. I contacted the seller about my issues and within 30 minutes they responded and had a replacement sent to me (I didn't even have to return the old one). The replacement just arrived and it works perfectly and is exactly what I wanted. The size is great, the knurling is nice, the weight being 45lbs is convenient. It really feels like what I imagine the Kabuki multigrip bar feels like but for wayyy less money.Serious respect to GearforFit for handling the situation. Will trust them in the future to make things right.
