It really works!
I had a small hole in my leather couch. I used this product and you can't even tell there ever was a hole. It was simple and fast to use. Now I want to find other things to patch up just so I can use more of this product.

if you don't need to mix colors, this works really well
My p-leather jacket had a tear on the elbow area. I patched it with Tear Mender (bought here at amazon), trimmed any loose threads/bumps, with nail clippers, and then used this black vinyl filler/paint. It took 6 coats, with 1-2 hours in between over two days. Near the end, it was staying "sticky" (as other reviewers have noted). I used alcohol and a lint-free cloth to "clean it up" and it removed the stickiness. The "texture" paper, that you're supposed to use on it.. totally DID stick to the repair and I had to remove it with alcohol and do another coat.. The final fix is a bit "shinny" compared to the jacket. Will address by getting leather ink and doing a coat of the whole sleeve so it's uniform in shininess.. But.. it saved the jacket and I'm wearing it. Most people wont notice unless I point it out ..First picture is after Tear Mender, before trimming. 2nd picture is after a few coats, last picture is the final repair.Ease of use only 3 stars cause quite frankly, if this had NOT been a black jacket, I have NO idea how I would have mixed the colors to make it match.

Not enough don’t work
This is not a good repair kit. It’s not as easy as they claim. It was a VERY small amount. Not enough to repair a 4 inch rip

Similar al vinil, pero no alcanza para agujeros grandes.
Es como usar pintura en varias capas. Lo sugiero para pequeños agujeros.

It stays STICKY and is NOT easy at all--and you DO have to mix it just right.
I bought this because I noticed a bad area of damage along the back seam of a chair I (entirely my fault for not searching every inch of it after they delivered it--but I did not get the one I picked out in the store).. I definitely did NOT want one of those tacky looking "patches" slapped over it. (In the first place they rarely if ever match). I had to mix two shades to approximate the brown on this chair.. it was NOT exact and I had no way of knowing how to get it exact. It DID make it look a little better, which is why I'll give it two stars instead of one; but you can clearly still see it's a mess back there, and it is STILL STICKY. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone trying to repair an important leather product in their house.

Easy to use, great results
Makes leather look new again. I just wish the tiny pots were a little larger to make mixing easier.

Extended the use of my shoes!!
I had two pairs of relatively good shoes- still in good shape yet I scratched the toes up on one pair and the side of another pair. So they looked rough and yet the interior and the soles were in good shape. My goal is to use items as long as possible- I'm not a fashion maven - but I want my clothes and shoes to look like they are in good repair and neat. this kit had me skeptical at first- the colors are a little off. But I realized that the trick is to mix the colors to get your correct tone of leather (or other material) and after a little experimenting- voila-- very close match- you cannot even tell. also they give you some leather texture paper to help achieve a seamless look. Both my shoes were smooth- so the papers weren't used. Follow directions- clean the area with alcohol wipe and let dry, I had to trim some raggedy edges and then used my already mixed pots to fill in the worn areas. Smooth it down as best possible and then let dry. Very happy with the results.
