This is a very lightweight backpack that can double as a small suitcase. I traipsed all over the mountains with it and had no problems, except it got dirty quickly. It withstood wind, rain, and snow, and kept the contents safe. I was able to pack a good amount of stuff in it and if you have packing cubes you could easily pack two or three days worth of clothes. It has an abundance of pockets, durable, and I like the zippers - no problems getting caught on stuff. It is a soft bag and will flop a little when emptier, but that was not an issue for me.

I don't really love the pink (it's sort of grungy looking), but the price was right for this color. I bought this for trips on Allegiant that has smaller size limits for personal items making my normal backpack a little too big. It fits well under the seat. I love the multiple pockets on the outside and that the inside opens like a suitcase making it easier to pack. The netting for holding my water bottle worked well with no slipping out. The multiple handles allowing for carrying, wearing as backpack or sliding onto the handle of my roller bag are nice. It fits comfortably on me as a backpack.As noted by a previous reviewer, a small area of dirt cleaned off easily with water and dried within a few hours.I would definitely recommend as a personal item for air travel especially the budget airlines.

Love these bags. Daughter bought one for our trip to use as our personal item. I bought one too! Fits under the seat. Has lots of space in it. Love the color. Comfortable to wear. Loved handles on top and side.

Looked for WEEKS for a backpack to bring on my Japan trip as a personal item (I needed to make sure I could bring back a bunch of things and still fit my clothes lol) and this worked perfectly for travel! I thought it was comfy to wear even when it was stuffed - and we walked a LOT with our stuff. It has plenty of space and easy to fit everything you need, even if you pack it extra full - plus the buckles are a nice add to bring it down a bit in size. Great quality.Also in case anyone else is looking for flying, I flew United, Air Canada and ANA with zero issues in size as a personal item.

So pros for this backpack; I really like how lightweight it is. Not heavy at all and very stretchy. You would be surprised with how much fits. I definitely overpacked and was able to fit so much. I love the clips in the main compartment because it keeps all your items organized without it moving around. I Packed for 5 nights in Seattle Washington and passed as a personal item for Spirit. Fit under the seat on the airplane. Less leg room but it did manage to fit.Cons would be; once it is completely packed the front zipper is very hard to open.. so if you needed to get anything out of it you would definitely struggle to pull anything out. It's kind of useless once it's fully packed. Also.. it is super heavy once fully packed and not as comfortable on the shoulders. Wish the pads on the straps were thicker to provide more comfort when wearing it. I also felt like it needed an anti theft pocket in the back but it didn't come with one.. overall it fits a lot but could use some improvements.. for a personal item it did the job.
