Great back pack!
Great quality bag. I love the small pocket on top for easy access to sunglasses or a snack. Mesh pockets on both sides (fit my kids Owala water bottles perfectly). The water reservoir is definitely a great feature but I don’t love the hassle of cleaning/letting dry out. I did get a cleaning kit from another company but am still saving using that for longer hikes. Nice that the straps have the ability to buckle in front and the kids love the whistle (although they do know to use it only if needed now 😉). My daughter is a small 7yo: 3ft10in and 43 pounds. I have the same bag in a different color for my son: average 9yo, 4ft7in and 77lbs. Would buy it again:)

Summer camp bag
Summer camp bag, zoo bag, it's wide enough to fit a lunchbox and even has waterbottle holders on the sides. The bladder is super convenient and my daughter loves it. Very well put together quality wise!

Perfect for sensory child
This was the perfect water hydration backpack for my 4’8” child. Unlike other hydration packs, this one has ample storage room for items he may need to easily access, snacks, and a thin light layer. Other hydration packs that have storage space are usually tight and narrow, which can be frustrating when trying to access something.

Great backpack but bladder leaks
*UpdateStill love the backpack, but the bladder has started leaking at the lid. No matter how many time I try to adjust the way it screws on, it still leaks. I’m not sure if I can find a gasket to prevent it or if I’m going to have to buy a whole new bladder.I got this for my 6yo. It gets used twice a week for about 3 hours at a time. It’s insulated well enough that the water stays cold the whole time and the bladder holds more than enough water. So far no leaking. It fits perfectly and has enough room for an insulated lunch box, extra snacks, a change of clothes and I’ve even been able to fit a rain jacket and water shoes in there along with the other mentioned items. I’m really glad I went with this one over the cheaper hydration packs I was considering.

Perfect for kids.
Perfect and VERY lightweight for our 7 year old girl. She loves to have her own pack with storage to carry anything she wants to take with us in our journey. We opted for the scout vs the mini mule because it added additional variety if we want to take extra items vs just a small snack. I’m glad we did. On our first hike it was a little chilly and she was able to put her light jacket in her backpack when she was ready to take it off.The bag is very high quality and we LOVE the built in whistle and reflective straps. Safety is very important.

Perfect for my daughter
My daughter is a small 8 year old and this bag was perfect for her during our recent vacation. She was able to keep hydrated and the bag was not too heavy or too bulky for her to carry all day everyday. She did chew through the mouthpiece on day one just from keeping the mouthpiece in her mouth too much but hopefully this can be easily replaced. It does leak slightly now around the mouthpiece because of the hole she chewed in.

Perfect for young children
This pack was the perfect size for my 4 yr old with more than enough room to grow into it at the same time. He had easy access to his water and plenty of extra space for things he finds along the way. Ws also got one for my 2 yr old but he was just a bit too small for it. When we filled it with water (about half way) he seemed off balance. But overall a great backpack for hiking with young children.
