I got this to leave at work and I don't notice any difference from the original. Works great.

My watch was charging on this charger on a countertop when I walked by and noticed a burning smell. I narrowed it down to the charging watch. Trying to pick it up, I found that it was too hot to handle and unplugged it immediately. Once cool, I noticed that one side was obviously burned through, brown and that my watch was stuck to the other (charger) side. I tried my watch off the back and as you can see by my photos, it had melted to the watch! The back of the watch broke and I'm out a $300 Pixel watch. Before anyone asks, it wasn't the outlet, wed used in the past and still use it without any issues. Pass on this one, find another charger.

As others have stated, the magnet is a bit weaker than the original Google chargers, but it does seem to charge at least at comparable speeds to the original Google charger. The magnet is still strong enough to hold the watch in place in most charging positions, but you might need to take special care to place it flat if it's going to be sliding around in a car or something like that.Visually they're almost identical to the Google chargers. In my picture the Google cable is on the outside and this product is on the inside. So you can see that the USB end has a bit more bulk on the Google charger and the cable is a little thicker as well.All that being said, I haven't had a problem with actual charging performance of the chargers and considering you get two of these for half the price of a single Google charger, I would say it's a bargain.

These chargers are poor quality and a fire risk. I've had multiple instances where they over charge the watch and it becomes super hot, to the point where I think the watch would catch fire if i left it on the charger for multiple days.

All in all, the Google Pixel Watch charger is fine. There is only one little annoyance and that is the cord. Though it is plyable, it retains enough curl from being wound while packed to make it less functional when first unpacked or when cool. So, allow it some time to relax before you try to use it. I've also simply placed a weight on the cord a time or two to keep the charger pad from curling or rolling. This works well too.With this one exception, the charger is completely usable and a direct replacement for the OEM charger.
