Works Just Like the Original! Lifesaver!
I misplaced my original FireStick remote and was so frustrated trying to use the app as a backup—it just wasn’t the same. I ordered this Voice Remote Replacement for FireStick 3rd Gen, and I couldn’t be happier!It paired with my FireStick quickly and works exactly like the original. The voice control is super responsive, and all the buttons feel solid and high-quality. Good as the og.
This remote works just as good as the original one. It does have anymore lag than the og and it’s better than using the app. The app is garbage. The button placement is slightly different, I’m use to the old one so sometimes I hit pause instead of turning it up. At first it wouldn’t turn my tv on or off or turn the volume up and down after it was connected but I reset the remote hitting back home and the menu button for ten seconds and that ended that problem

Fully Chromecast Compatible
Worked with our Samsung TV for power and volume control, and with the Chromecast with Google TV (Snow). I did have to manually use my phone to control the Chromecast to go into Bluetooth settings to pair the remote, but after that I had no issues with voice control or any of the buttons. The remote is identical to the original, and even has a bit of a more premium feel although maybe that's because it's a lot newer than our original remote. Very pleased though for the price! I just set it up today so I can't speak to the battery life or durability yet.

Not genuine Amazon - stay away you have been warned
This is NOT a genuine Amazon brand remote but a cheap aftermarket remote made to look like a real one. The one we received was initially able to control tv power and volume on our Firestick but is not able to consistently work well even after re-pairing and reseting everything several times. It always stops working as it should. Bringing this remote into your home will only add to your level of frustration and disappointment. Not worth it at any price. Look for a genuine remote or just buy a whole new Firestick instead of this one.

Easy to set up with firetv. Fixed issue with my current remote draining batteries. This one has no issues with battery drain. Well made and durable against multiple drops. Buttons functioning well.
