This item feels and looks of a great quality! Stiff; when it is worn it should loosen up.

Not sure if its a good thing or not but it's thinner than the gear I'm used to. The belt it like a light foam and cloth hybrid. Runs small in the jacket but the pants are roomy. We'll see how it goes in action.

I ordered this for my nephew to spur interest in martial arts. It's pretty nicely made, though a bit odd on texture. It works well though for the needs of the uniform as it allows for easy movement and doesn't cling at all. It fits as the chart dictates on sizes. My nephew is 7 but is tall for his age so I went a size up so he'll be able to wear it longer. It's a little big on him but still wearable and I think it's sturdy enough to get a few years of use from and hopefully inspires him to want to take lessons. If nothing else, it'll make for a snazzy Halloween costume. Anywho, for the price I can't imagine a better deal. As mentioned, the texture of the suit is a tad odd--almost feels like the disposable garments my grandma used to sew, but definitely better quality. It doesn't bother my nephew at all and most likely it's to benefit the sustainability of the uniform. I would recommend this without any negatives for sure.

The fabric is soft and has a very faint striped pattern. It is medium weight. The top has ties for the criss cross top. The pants have an elastic waist with the additional draw string to allow adjustments to fit. The belt that comes with it is not a cotton belt like others I have seen but it looks like them.I purchased for a costume and will not be using it in actual class but I would think this fabric is lighter weight then the cotton I have seen years ago. It feels like it would move easily with you. It is going to work perfect for us .

My daughter wanted to try Martial Arts so I ordered this kimono karate set. She is 4’3” and 74lbs and the size Small we ordered fits her very well. The top is a little long in the arms but the pants fit well without being too loose or too snug. The top is boxy but can be cinched in with the belt, which is very well made. The material is thin but not too thin and it allows for full range of motion. If your studio/class will allow you to buy your own uniform, this is a great option at a bargain price.

This karate Gi fits perfectly. The material is comfortable and fits perfectly. It's very well put together, there are no snags or loose strings with it. It has some weight to it but not super heavy. This is definitely worth the purchase for yourself or if you have a little one that is interested in karate. The price is decent for it.
