This shampoo has mostly great ingredients, but I'm concerned with the preservative Phenoxyethanol, which was flagged. I assume the amount of it in the product is considered safe by consumer safety and it is safer than parabens, but there are better and safer forms of preservatives that could be used. Therefore, I would not want to use this product long term, although long term is needed for results.Other than that, it's a lightweight, white cream that gives a good lather. Smells good, but not strong. Doesn't leave a scent in my hair after rinsing. Doesn't dry my hair out or leave any kind of residue.
