Easy to use and better design for storage

I like these. They do the job!

We got these to store glyphosate that we purchased in a 2.5 gallon container, and they have worked out well. The lids fit nice and tight, and the 1-gallon containers are much lighter and easier to move than the larger container. The jugs are also easy to label, as you can just write on the side with a permanent marker. I would recommend this product.

Get storage containers but are made of thinner material than I expected. Still work great.

I've been needing to find a container for storing rain water that I use for my plants. I have a cut flower garden in the spring, summer and fall. I make floral life by the gallon to have on hand for my arrangements because it's more convenient and because you must mix it exactly 1 scoop/1 gallon or the concentration of sugars and antibacterial agents will be wrong and it can actually hurt your flowers. I was using a store-bought, repurposed, 1-gallon distilled water jug last year and I made the mistake of using it again this year. We've had a history of leaking water bottles so you'd think would learn but I didn't. It was only after finding a waterfall in the basement that we discovered the jug had leaked and almost a gallon of water went through the kitchen floor/basement ceiling and onto the basement floor,This thicker plastic jug is my solution. I had to buy two so I will make two gallons at a time and keep them in the kitchen without fear they will spring a leak. Today's milk/water jugs leak so often simply because they are made so thin nowadays that they are on the verge of failure from the moment they are created.

Works about as expected. At $19 USD for two, these seem rather expensive for what they are.Was a bit surprised to see these not only look like motor oil bottles, but perhaps they ARE motor oil bottles, just without the branding sticker. The lid seals are not rubber or silicone, they're just normal plastic-coated cardboard inserts that you'd find in a single use oil bottle from the auto store. Though I upcycle those for chemical waste storage and they do keep a seal for a good number of uses before they wear out. So, I'd expect these to have similar (limited) durability for re-use.White containers like these are often meant to signal food safe, but I personally wouldn't use these for grain or water storage.Unfortunately, these came with quite wasteful shipping--a box in a much bigger box with air pillows. That may been Amazon's fault, but maybe the seller needs to tell them that the box they pack is adequate for such a light weight and anti-fragile item.

For less money I can buy products that come in better quality jugs and dump the contents.
