Great
I recently purchased the VENZ Smart Air Conditioner Controller, and all I can say is, "Why didn't I get this sooner?" This smart controller and air quality sensor have entirely transformed how I manage my home's climate and air quality. It's a game-changer!Installation was a breeze. I plugged in the VENZ Smart Air Conditioner Controller, connected it to my Wi-Fi network, and downloaded the app. Within minutes, I had complete control over my air conditioner from my smartphone. No more fumbling for the remote or dealing with outdated thermostat settings. The fundamental standout feature for me is the air quality sensor. I've always been concerned about the air my family breathes indoors, especially during allergy season. The VENZ Smart Air Conditioner Controller monitors the air quality in real time, providing me with valuable insights and alerts when it's time to improve ventilation or adjust the air purifier. I can also see historical data, helping me track changes in air quality over time. The app itself is intuitive and user-friendly. I can create schedules to ensure my home is at the perfect temperature when I arrive or wake up.The energy-saving features are impressive. The VENZ Smart Air Conditioner Controller helps optimize my air conditioner's performance, reducing energy consumption and saving me money on our electric bills. I appreciate the eco-friendly aspect of this device.

Works flawlessly with ALEXA!
I like this VENZ smart IR controller because it works pretty well and allows me to control my tv, portable fan, air conditioner, and other IR devices that I have in my room through ALEXA.The WOOX APP and an account are necessary for customizing and using the controller. However, the app is easy to find, install, and navigate.*** SOME OF THE ISSUES THAT I HAVE ***- I like the temperature and humidity display of the device; however, it is on only during the day, and despite my efforts to adjust the settings, I have been unable to make the display function during the night as well.- I was also not able to add devices that are not found in the database, and I was not able to add my IR devices via the DIY (OTHER), I always get a timeout error.Overall, despite the issues that I have encountered, I am still quite fond of the VENZ universal IR controller due to its flawless compatibility with ALEXA, and its scheduling and geo-fencing programmability.

Celsius commands sent to mini splits
Product is great - works as expected. However the commands are sent in Celsius to the mini split instead of Fahrenheit.I don't know that this is an issue with the product or app - multiple IR blasters use this same app and they all have the same issue.

A neat little device that fails in too many ways.
So is it cool that it has more remote codes than most universal IR systems? Yes. Is it cool that this thing looks nice and installs easily? Yes. Is it cool that it's app controlled? No.See, this uses Woox for some ridiculous and frankly nonsensical reason. Woox is a Tuya partner, so this device SHOULD work with Tuya's smart home system instead. But it doesn't. Needs the Woox app instead. Which is basically just a carbon copy of Tuya's smart home app, but doesn't work as well.Integration gets dumber, too. See, the way it connects in its own app is having its own remote, with all the buttons necessary, all the controls(sorta), and if a button is missing, you can give it a new one, as was the case with my Delonghi air conditioner which was missing the UVC button using the teach function that lets you use the stock remote to teach the app how to send new signals. Good job there. If you integrate it with Amazon or Google? You have two options. On or Off. Except it isn't On or Off, it's a toggle. So if the app thinks the device is turned Off when it's turned On, when you use the app to try and turn it On, it'll turn it Off. Partially a fault of IR systems in general, but also just a major issue with the way the app and its integrations work.So the idea of "Use Alexa to control your AC"? Is.... no. Just no. It does not work well at all. Bit misleading. Okay, EXTREMELY misleading. Stop it.Also I can't be entirely sure but I'm beginning to think the thermostat isn't reading correctly, as it thinks my office is pushing just under 80 degrees. Which seems unlikely considering it's the dead of winter right now. So there's an Oof to that. Also setup is ridiculous and hilarious. Like many wireless devices that use the chip this uses for Wifi control, it refuses to connect to any network that has a 5GHz network attached to it. Even if it is a duplexed network with a 2.4GHz signal as well. Had to turn off the 5GHz band long enough to set it up, which from a software standpoint is extremely dumb, because once it's set up? You can just turn it back on and it never, ever has any connection issues from that point forward. Slow clap for that. Stop using that chipset, folks, it's no good.I want to like this thing. It looks nice, it's classy, it's functional(ish), it's decently engineered(the mag plate is a nice touch, the recessed USB-C is inspired, all that), but I just can't get past the rest of the issues, all of which would be very easy to solve if you just hired better software engineers, and integrated better with existing smart home systems instead of insisting on yet another one no one likes.

I almost returned it
I bought you these for the mini splits in my rentals. The brand that I had was not listed and I almost give up. I went on to Google to do some research, but there was no help. In the drop-down list I saw that there was a manual search method. After going through three steps, the base station was able to identify the correct infrared signal for my mini split. And just like thought I was able to control my mini split via Wi-Fi instead of the basic handheld remote.Easy & good functionality. App is clean and easy to under

Works Great!
This AC controller was easy to pair to my WiFi and to control my Senville mini split via IR (as well as any other IR controlled devices in that same room). I like that you can see the temperature and humidity in the location where the device is installed (on the device and on the app), turn on or off the display, change/set alarms for temperature and humidity, or disable alarms, and switch between C and F for temperature.
