Nice to have a light, quality seems pretty good and for a good price….. not sure how strong they might be.

This is an excellent key safe. It’s easy to set the PIN number and it can be reset (that’s not always possible with some other makes). It’s easy to fix to the wall and would be difficult to remove by anyone hoping to steal the key safe, but even if they did manage to get it off the wall there’s no way to open it without the code. I also liked the fact that an LED light goes on so you can see the display.

This is first time I ordered this type and all my carers say it's best one I've had and with light on inside easy to see numbers on inside at nite.

The box seems pretty sturdy, and can probably take a bit of a beating. The light up system is really little more than a gimmick to be honest. The actual mechanism is just average. It's a little stiff at first, but not so much so that it's hard to operate. It's also very easy to change the combination. However it's probably not very pick resistant (combination locks rarely are), and it's probably also vulnerable to a variety of other attacks which generally make these sort of lock useless.

I now use this to keep the spare keys to my house. Not that I ever did leave them under the door mat. No picture of where I have put it, as not being obvious adds to security, and I used longer screws than the 25mm ones supplied. However, it would probably be easier breaking into my house directly rather than attacking this key safe.Pulling down the black plastic weather cover reveals the combination, and briefly turns on an LED to illuminate the numbers. When it goes out an unmarked black plastic button will turn it on again. Remember to brief visitors. Resetting the combination is simple. Slightly more pronounced combination wheels would have been nice.The only real niggle I have is in actually opening the door. On occasions it won't open on the first attempt - it did this right after resetting the combination which was rather alarming. However, trying again seems to work. Pull hard. I think in my safe the lock tongue is microscopically too long.I am really pleased with this key safe!
