Its really lightweight. The umbrella does turn our but it doesn't break so I guess that makes it weather proof. You can't use it to protect yourself during a windy rainy day but it won't break either. So you'll still have an umbrella. Have been using mine for a year now since my last umbrella broke in a torrential rain.

I got this umbrella for my daughters who both just started college. They have a long walk from their dorm to their classes so they just leave the umbrella in their bookbag and forget about it. It doesn’t take up much space so it’s perfect.

I always ♥️ fancy & cool electric items. 😊 When I tell you this umbrella is the answer to my struggles trying to close a soaking umbrella, in a wheelchair. It's is the "Answer!" It closes just as nice as it opens ☺️

I bought multiple for a Disneyland trip. Although the sun was bearing down on us while we waited without any natural shade we used the umbrellas and my whole family was able to not get sunburned. We did supplement with sunscreen especially the exposed areas that are not covered with umbrella or clothing. use the umbrella, supplement with sunscreen, rehydrating along the entire day and you’ll definitely reduce skin damage while staying a bit cooler than those around you. Size was great aswell.

Really hard to open. You have to push really hard to get it to lock in the open position. Seems kind of flimsy. Not an umbrella to use if it’s windy and raining. Okay for a light or gentle rain.

Trying to close it is a little hectic. Overall not bad for the price
