That’s what it says on the tin to be truly waterproof. You will need some tape to over the hinge on the opening but easy to install looks fine.

Bought this to cover my plug socket that was directly under my boiler, that was leaking for days before my landlord got off his lazy ass to fix it.

Arrived broken, cracked in 2 places.

I bought 2 of these for my mother in law who is suffering from dementia as it said they were child proof.The boxes didn't appear (and I looked and looked) to securely close. They are just hinged so they lift up and down. In the end I have to tape them closed with magic tape so she couldn't easily see the tape.Also both units were broken when they arrived in a similar place, on the narrow surround that attaches to the wall.I stuck them together with the self adhesive tape that comes with them so the issue was solved but not great to be honest.I've given it 2* as I think they are a good idea and are really easy to install as self adhesive but they aren't the best.
