I bought this hoping it would not be too hot for my liking and I am happy to say that not only is it NOT too hot, it's also delicious! I now put this ---- in everything! (Like the commercial says...!)It does have a 'bite' of heat, but it's not too hot! It is just a bit salty, and it adds something, and I'm not even sure what that is, but I know that everything I put it in or on just tastes better!I'll be ordering this again!

Good flavor, does the job of adding some heat to a dish.

I ordered this for a spicy pork ramen dish that I wanted to make after seeing the recipe on YouTube. This packs flavor and heat. I’m used to garlic chili sauce but this brings a different flavor altogether that I had to pull back on the recipe portion the second time making the ramen soup. I don’t live near an Asian market so I was happy to find it on Amazon.

I bought this for my mapo tofu recipe. I love how my dish tastes like restaurant quality. My husband thought I ordered a take out!

Good spicy burn with a richness of flavor. Great to amplify dishes, and essential for many dishes.I didn't give 5 stars because oil had been leaking before I received the paste. It didn't make a mess as much of a mess as it might have, but it was disappointing that it didn't remain sealed. Especially with how the pepper oil can stain.

The taste is delicious, first time trying and i use it almost everyday. I wish the chili's were more blended though. Smoother sauce would make it 5 stars!
