Good belt if you like velcro instead of leather.
Disclaimer: I am an avid lifter and was given this product to write a review. I will give full disclosure and the best comprehensive review I can. There will be no bias as I myself hate when I get a product to see the reviews have been falsified.First things first:Height: 6'1Weight: 198 (Athletic build)Belly Button: 36"Midway between belly button and nipples: 36.5"Waist just below belly button: 36"Typical pant/short size: 33/34"Shirt size: LargeBasketball shorts size: Big mediums or small larges. (if that makes sense)ProFitness Belt size: MediumOrdered Large at first, but it was too large, so I exchanged for a medium. Background:Prior to using this weight belt, I have been using a Harbinger Velcro one which is very similar. I am at the very bottom end of large on the Harbinger. When it comes to the ProFitness belt, large did not fit me at all, so I had to return and get the medium. (This is not their fault as they advertise sizes on their product, I just thought I knew better because that is what I typically use).Customer Service:There was a postcard inside the package when it arrived that said it had a lifetime warranty (if registered in the time frame) and also an email/phone number if there was any issues. I placed a phone call and left a message. 1 minute and 40 seconds later a human texted me and asked what the issue was. We resolved the issue in a matter of a few texts and the new belt was on its way. THIS WAS AWESOME. There is literally nothing better than having fantastic customer service.Review of the product: This product gets 5 stars- This belt is awesome. At first I was a bit skeptical of the 'locking' technology that is used for this belt, but after just a few sets, I realized how awesome it actually was to have. For those of you who have used a Velcro belt before, you know that when you suck in and lock the belt, sometimes it slips a little and doesn't stay as tight; well with this bad boy, that is not something you have to worry about at all.- The Velcro on this belt is awesome. Now I have only used it a few times so I cannot speak to the longevity of it, but since the strip is thick and long, I would assume there would be no issues with it.- The support on this belt is just as good if not better than other Velcro belts that I have tried. One thing I like about this belt that other Velcro belts don't always have is: extra fabric underneath the buckle so it does not dig into your body as you're lifting. This one has an extra like 3-4 inches of belt underneath the buckle so that you don't have to worry about the metal digging into your skin.- Aesthetic.... It's the gym, who cares. I got the black and white. It looks real clean. There's not much more to say. It's visually appealing. (except when I put it on and have a muffin top, but that is not the belts fault).I was going to put a 'Cons' section on this review but honestly this belt does exactly what it should. It is not expensive, and the customer service was excellent. I HIGHLY recommend this belt to anyone who wants to try out a Velcro belt.To end this review, a quote from a legend, "I always say to myself right before a tough set in the gym, Ain't nothin' to it, but to do it." -Ronnie Coleman

Awesome belt
So I have had the same old school leather belt for the last 30 yrs,and the hole in the buckle finally gave out.I was apprehensive about replacing it with a Velcro belt but decided to give it a try( I certainly liked how it looked). When I got it,I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and snug it is and also very sturdy. My only issue was it could be a tad bigger( I ordered small). The package came with a flyer and a number to text.I texted them and explained that I wanted to exchange for a medium. They answered promptly and sent me a medium a few days later.

Good quality
Good quality overall at an affordable price. Seems to run just a tad small. If more Velcro hook & loop material was extended further up the strap, this belt would be much more versatile in adjustment and fit

Excellent belt for a bargain price!
I've been using the ProFitness Nylon weightlifting belt for 2 months now and I am more than satisfied with my purchase! The belt offers great support and is very comfortable to wear--sometimes leather belts will bite into during lifts but no issues with this belt. I was curious how secure the Velcro locking mechanism would hold up during lifts and was pleasantly surprised to find that it stays secure even during very heavy lifts. Another benefit is that it isn't super bulky like leather belts, so it stores easily in my gym bag. Highly recommend!!

Review from a Student Physical Therapist: Good entry level lifting belt! New PRs 👍
First of all, you shouldn't be using a lifting belt if you don't know how to brace and stabilize your spine without the belt. It is fundamentally designed to increase your intra abdominal pressure given that you already know how to do that with no belt under heavy loads. So lifting heavy without proper bracing is just putting a bandaid on the issue and could result in worse problems and more pain down the road. You shouldn't even really need a brace if you're lifting under like 90% of your 1 rep max.Second, don't make them think you're fat! Their sizing is weird/off. I'm about 210-215 lbs, athletic build, 5'11". I fit in most size 34 pants pretty comfortably. Measured my waist how they depicted in the picture, right around the navel. This gave me a 40" reading, which puts me in the XL category. That didn't feel right, so I went against sizing guidelines and got a large. Seems like it fits fine! The pictures show how much room I have. The belt is right about in the middle. The one from the back looks like I still have 8-10 inches of room if I was skinnier. And I'm not struggling to get it on.Third, it is velcro but it also has a section that you have to loop it back through to really cinch it down. Great for a snug fit, not as ideal if you're wanting to quickly slip this on and off like during a CrossFit metcon or some HIIT.Fourth, I hit some PRs with this on. I haven't lifted super heavy before this year, so I really don't have a good baseline for what they were before. Back in October I deadlifted 305 no brace. About a month and a half later, with this one, I added an extra 10 lbs, about a 3% increase. It could have been just me improving my strength over that month and a half, but I didn't particularly focus on increasing my deadlift 1RM. So you're not going to slap on an extra 50 lbs because you're wearing a brace. But it felt good pulling that, and my back felt great afterwards. Same with some heavy (for me) back squats at 265.Fifth, I bet you'd be hard pressed to find a belt at this price point that's held up this well so far. Overall so far so good! Haven't used it a ton, so I can't speak to longevity, but I'd recommend it from what I've seen!
