At a nice price, I can definitely recommend this timer for those with sight impairments, and those who are a little more old-fashioned (also such as I).

I purchased this one to replace a different timer that I had to return. So far this one works good, offers reasonable volume levels, and is easy to use.

Our old kitchen timer finally quit after decades of use. I got one of these Secura Brands 60 minute visual timer as a replacement. The first thing we noticed was the silence. No loud clicking with an annoying metallic ringing when finished. With this Secura timer, there is almost complete silence. Time left is very visual on the easy to read timer face. I like that the “alarm” can be set to ring for 3 seconds or 60 seconds, and that the volume of the alarm can also be adjusted. I use it when at the BBQ. I can quickly set it for 2 minutes or 4 minutes to get those perfect grill lines, and the timer is useful for the large cuts or longer times for BBQing perfection. I do wish it had a “pause” button. That would be perfect. The timer is very light and compact at 2 inches square. It does not take up much space and can be used for many other timing uses.
