First off, this is a pretty heavy job which will need two people from time to time.Obviously, you need to read all the instructions carefully and make sure you do take time to mark out before you start drilling holes in your your precious walls!The rail is a single length of good quality steel, which means you should have no problems getting it to run straight.The running gear is good quality and the overall specification is well up to the job.Measure twice and drill once, as they say.The handles are nice and large, so easy to grip.The door is pretty average quality, so be prepared to spend some time prepping for paint or varnish finishing.Everything you need is in the box and the instructions are refreshingly simple to follow.works well overall.

This folding sliding door is a practical and space-saving option for separating rooms or creating privacy, epecially if you dont want a full door opening in to the room.I found that it is relatively easy to install with some basic DIY knowledge.It opens and closes smoothly, and feels sturdy for the price.The design is more of a modern one and it looks clean, making it a good fit for various interiors and you could paint it if you want to change its appearance.Great value if you’re looking for an affordable sliding door.Recommended.

This isn't a solo DIY job, you're going to need a hand, from the weight alone. The packaging is strong, it comes in a solid slim box, very difficult to move though due to the weight. The instructions included are clear, you can also benefit from watching some YouTube videos on similar doors. I inspected all the parts, the rail, the mechanisms and it all looked precise and accurate, nothing was scratched or faulty.You may have to trim the door in some places for a clean fit and alignment over your door frame, this is easy enough with a file.The included peripherals like the handle are well made and look nice, not too hard to change out for your own too, the functionality is good, it has a smooth rail system, doesn't take a lot of work to open and close it and it closes firm. Of course there is a risk with the hinge, fingers can get trapped, so It's not suitable for areas with children.

First thing that i noticed with this is the strong structure and quality of the wood which isnt the kind youll pick up from a discount type store so certainly worth investing a little bit more money for the highest quality ensuring it lasts longer. We werent keen on the standard wood colour so chose to stain it to a darker effect which turned out fabulous and was super easy to do since its uncoated and didn't need sanding. The only issue we had was needing to pay a professional to fit it due to the weight of the door, and if your not diy confident i certain advise this too as it will easily rip your wall apart if installed incorrectly and could potentially really hurt someone if it was to fall off. Its also advised you secure it to the floor first so you might want to see if you have wooden or concrete flooring too. Now its fully fit it looks great and gives a nice rustic farm feel in our home but is more space saving compared to a traditional door however we have noticed more of a draft with this compared to our old door due to not sealing the gaps which you may want to consider.

I'll separate my review into a few little bits to (hopefully!) show you what I liked and didn't like about this when I'm writing my review.Build quality- It is really sturdy - I don't think the pictures do it really justice as it is quite heavy - so when you're ready to fit this up, it might be a two person job! When it arrives, it hides its size very well!- The wood is untreated which means that there's no odd smells or anything and you can also paint it (or stain it) however you want - whilst you don't need to sand it, you can if you want to get an even smoother finish (it'll definitely hold up to sanding!)- The doors themselves are crafted very well together and the fxtures/fittings that come with it are of a high quality (next section!)Sliders & Dimensions- The doors themselves are of a standard size and the rollers on top add a bit more height to the product- When you're installing this, make sure to choose the dimensions of the door that you want exactly - the rollers require an additional space above your door frame.- The rollers on the door (and the subsequent folding action on the bi-fold door) is smooth and feels... precise?Other Thoughts:- These are expensive but comparable to the ones that you can get from Wickes or B&Q (and other DIY stores) but the quality of the wood and the fittings makes it worth it and definitely worth the price (provided you have a need to buy this)- It saves space compared to a normal door but it doesn't save that much more space - if you're looking for something to dramatically reduce the size that you've wanted your doors to occupy, I would suggest that you look for a curtain. But for our home, this is wonderful and definitely more interesting/nicer to look at that than just a normal door.If you're handy with DIY, then these are no fuss to install - very good product and would recommend!

this door is well made and heavy, made of solid pine. Unfortunately, the package arrived damaged and the door has a major dent in it - no way of telling whether this happened at the warehouse or in transit. The style is rustic and would with similar interiors. Fixing it is relatively straight forward if you know your DIY, however, it’s quite heavy, so best do it as a team exercise if you get it.
