I loved the colors and how easy they were to apply

FULL AND COMPREHENSIVE REVIEWOkay, so this was my first time working with polygel. I do have experience working with pre-painted tips, charm application, etc. But I still wanted to have good strong nails that lasted more than a week or two. I knew this wouldn’t be easy after purchasing, but after a lot of trial and error you really can get salon-quality nails (see picture above)!For starters, the kit provides you with everything you would possibly need, including a variety of colors, nail decor, UV light, and tools for your prepping and filing needs. Now, as I said, I’ve been doing my own nails for a few years now and I know the key to long-lasting nails is making sure they are fully dehydrated and properly groomed before application. If you do this, I guarantee it really does make a difference!For this price, you are really getting your money’s worth, but the process is lengthy for first time polygel users, and you will probably make a ton of mistakes.I do have some qualms with this kit, however. The clamps provided to hold down the dual forms on the nail are not very strong and the polygel itself is INCREDIBLY STICKY. There also isn’t much quantity to each squeezable tube, so I recommend making sure the gel is warm enough to work with before starting (your hands naturally warm it as you work with it). The slip solution works great but I found myself using a LOT of it! Another problem I had was after curing, there was often cured overflow around my cuticles, and when I tried to remove it, it wasn’t always super clean so I had to go back with extra gel and cure to cover up the gaps.Application itself took me about 2 hours alone (I had to do one nail at a time bc they were my own haha) and filing and decor took me about an hour. So, the process is long, but as you can see, I’m very happy with the outcome.All in all, I anticipate with enough practice these sets shouldn’t end up taking more than an hour and a half for me, and for the kit’s price, problems are expected. However if you’re determined, this will definitely end up working great for you! The instructions are easy to read and the kit is incredibly portable. Takes practice but beautiful and much cheaper than the salon

I was excited to try the poly gel nail kit, getting my nails done was costly. Everything you can think about for your nails came with this kit and more, it took me more than two hrs to do my nails but I didn’t care cuz it was so fun. First time doing my nails it didn’t came out perfect, putting the gel on it either came out not enough gel or too much where it came out too thick especially under my nails. I tried to smooth the gel down under my nails so this way it wasn’t too thick but was unsuccessful. The next day the nails start popping off one by one. Taking a shower, getting dress two or three were popping off. This would be my fourth time using the poly gel and I tried to learn from my mistakes in putting the gel on the first three times. Over two hrs doing my nails and they only lasted a few hrs before popping off. I was so mad cuz I took my time doing my nails and they just popped right off smh so much for nails lasting 14days I would be lucky if they lasted more than 24hrs. I’m not giving up on the poly gel nail kit, maybe I need to try a different brand but this brand sucks!!!

Product works well, but I found it was more difficult to use than I had thought. I think with patience and practice this would be awesome, because you get everything you could need with it.
