Never thought I could buy a log splitter off of Amazon! That said it came in 4 boxes 1 box was a bit beat up but didn't affect anything. The instructions were Clear and easy, My son and I assembled it in just under 1 1/2 hours. All the tools needed to assemble it were included in the packaging however I recommend your own tools for easier faster assembly I used my own. The bearings for the wheels didn't have enough bearing grease for my liking so I added and replaced the bearings however you can install them right out of package if ur not picky like me. it also came with Hydraulic fluid and engine oil. Which I didn't know. So No need to buy any to use just the Gas to run it.After it was assembled, it started right up 1st pull. I split a cord of wood with it right away that was seasoned, I also had a tree come down during Hurricane Helene, i cut it up and it split the red oak with ease, I couldn't find anything it wouldn't split I put a 22inch wide X 18inch thru it and it barely hesitated, Red Oak is very stringy wood but it did so without issue, the only thing I noticed about the Ram was it doesnt go all the way out to almost contact the back plate, I had to put a piece of 4X4 to split all the way thru the difficult stuff. For a 25ton ram. It did amazing; the noise level isn't too bad, and it's actually really easy to pull around by hand and light enough if u don't want to constantly hook it up to move it. It's pretty compact and doesn't take a lot of room to store, I had a choice between this one of a 7 Ton for about the same money, this was only a few hundred more but well worth it considering you can tow it unlike the others I looked at.If your looking for a great Log splitter this is it!! This is a great tool. It powers through logs that were nearly impossible for me to split. Faqirly easy to assemble. Recommend having 2 people.

Obsessed with this log splitter. Putting it together was easy, although UPS man was probably pretty mad at us. But we love love love this log splitter. We have enough wood to last for 2 weeks after spending 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours using this

It was easy to assemble and worked on the first pull. Easy to maneuver as weight is balanced. Had no pr blemish splitting the hardest wood. Would highly recommend.

Honestly I’m impressed with this machine. It was little process putting together but fun also to know how the components are so when you need repair or maintenance . Very powerful.

Item is easy to assemble. Clear instructions. Once together it started on the second pull. It is a solid machine, not flimsy material and works very well. There were delivery hiccups, but that is not on the seller or the product.

Log splitter arrived broken. My husband tried to fix it to keep from having to return it and in doing so made the splitter sturdier with different bolts for the wheels. After getting the broken wheel shafts fixed he LOVED the splitter-easy to use, sufficiently powerful, great safety features. Then, it quit working at all. and if it did start, it blew the breaker! Still trying to figure out what the problem may be, but ultimately will sadly have to return. Too many problems in the onset of receiving and using.

Keep this in basement and stay warm and dry splitting wood. I've recommended it to 2 people who have also loved it
