Have relatively flat feet and have been searching for a good arch support solution. This product suits perfectly as it has good foam cushioning, the right contours to provide support at arch and heel and has a fabric covering that helps in grip (for the socks) and keeps the insole clean.Cut the insole as per your foot size as well as the shoe that you intend to use it for. Ensure that the toe area spreads into the shoe (cut only after you have estimated that). Adds a little bit of width/height so ensure you have a slightly loose fitting shoe. Ideally about a half shoe size higher than your regular size would be ideal.Works much better with a sports shoe as gives a customized and snug fit compared to a formal shoe. Have tried these for my walks and have felt a big difference in the support and my gait. I have been running regularly since 2009 and I used this product to correct my leg length discrepancy (left leg shorter by 0.5 inch) which caused greater stress to my right lower leg. I therefore needed the insole only for my left shoe. The sole needed to be trimmed only slightly for my Adidas Size 10 running shoes. The local cobbler did it very skilfully in a couple of minutes. Even though it can be done at home, it is better to get it done by a cobbler who is able to do it expertly.The insole corrected the leg length discrepancy but caused additional pain elsewhere (left leg and lower back) which was worse than the original problem of extra stress to my right lower leg. My body had adapted to the discrepancy and the stress to my right leg after running was not all that significant but the use of left insole had disturbed the body's equilibrium and caused these new problems. I took a decision to discard the insole after two running sessions and feel better. In order that prospective buyers can take an informed decision, I am giving the following additional information so that they have an idea of the intensity of the workout and the stress caused to the body on account of it.Age-53 years, Height-179 cm., Weight-82 kg., Running Session-4 km. in 28-29 minutes thrice a week on non-consecutive days.Coming to the product, the quality is good and it is made of high quality material. It provides an excellent cushion and greatly reduces the impact. The shoes become quite tight after inserting the insole. This requires removal of the original insole which will ruin the shoes or tying the shoe laces very loose. It is more suitable for sports shoes and it may not be suitable for formal shoes. One thing is certain; it may not suit everyone and hence the cost of the product has to be considered as the cost of trying the product since it can't be returned after being used. I feel the cost of trial is worth the price because it will give you a clear indication of what will suit you more.I have been using top quality Adidas running shoes and I now feel after trying this product that they do a good job and do not require an insert for absorbing the shock. My verdict is as follows. Go for the product only if your problem / discomfort is extraordinary or if you have been advised by a doctor to use it. Otherwise, for cases like mine where the body adapts to a minor discrepancy which is quite common but noticed only by those who run, invest in high quality running shoes which are more than adequate to see you through your running sessions.

The product quality is decent; this is 4th time I purchased the product

My foot is 10 size and i was able to cut in the exact size. Initially there was good comfort, although the heel support felt too small i.e. it did not support my heel completely but after 2 weeks the thing is completely flat and no use at all. There is little comfort from the sole in total but no heel support at all. I use it in my safety shoe where i have to stand for almost 6hrs straight and this is not helping in my heel pain.
