Good intent but poor execution and support
I purchased one of these routers to put on the side of a remote cabin where we have good cellular reception. Upon setting the device up I realized that their were some features missing from the unit there were outlined in the guide. The most concerning was that the newer firmware removed DDNS (verified with the seller).Let me give the great technical highlights:- You can use the network pigtail to connect to a different switch if desired allowing the capabilities to go above 8 connections using this the ISP router- It allows you to use any private addressing space- The true highlight for me was that I could add another hotspot like a phone or in my case my Verizon hotspot and it sent the traffic over this path first before the SIM connectionHere is where the issues began:- After setting up the device we started noticing that the cameras kept dropping connection- At first thought it was a power issue but found the device fully powered just not broadcasting- Considering this was in western Pennsylvania at Thanksgiving thought maybe it just got to cold so we moved in inside to get it out of the windNone of the above helped so decided since I already mounted 4 solar wifi cameras that needed to continue to pursue. I ordered a replacement and a different brand. The other brand would not charge even on a hardline using the USB-C cable so confidence in that longevity was diminished.I pursued setting up the replacement Lastcow router and everything seemed to be doing well for the week we were still there. We headed back to Texas (yes 1300 miles away) and the cameras were still sending notifications and could see live streams. And then it started to fail again and the connection for the cameras was not being made and as part of the deep dive pull up the EIOTClub usage and nothing was being depleted. This past week I got a few notifications on one day and they have stopped. Not I am in a debate since the sample card expires on Jan 1st and still has ~60MB remaining. If I add purchase more time I could be just wasting it if this router isn't going to work. If the manufacturer would have retained DDNS I might have at least been able to see if it was like the previous item where the wifi was dropping and a reboot might resolve but know we have no idea the root issue and likely won't be back up in PA for 6 to 9 months.Update: I have been trying to work with the seller on this issue and had to go back to the area for a loss in the family. The seller does not seem to understand that the SSID just randomly stops broadcasting and you have to hard power cycle the device to get it to be seen again. They have blamed it on a power issue and that I should plug it in which would defeat the purpose of a solar device. Then they tried to tell me the issue is that the cellular signal is poor and that is why I can't connect to the cameras remotely even though it has a steady 2-3 bars of signal. I have stood within 10 feet of the device when this happens and there is no SSID and then I power cycle it and magic it is there again. Very frustrating to spend $100 on a device intended for remote areas without electric for it to not be dependable. The only good I see out of this is I decided to only buy the 1GB data for $9 and not the $100 plan with 24GB. I have dropped my rating due to the device issues and the level of support.

Easy and Reliable
The solar panel works really well with this router. I like to have the ability to not depend on the electricity from the power company in times of storms or blackouts. The router was very easy to set up and connect and so far, there has been no issues with being connected. I have not noticed any diminished speed or functionality.

Not international unlocked
Bought this unit to use at a remote area in Bahamas. After inserting data sim and making all necessary configuration this unit was not recognized by our network. Not international unlocked it appears. Works great with hardwire connection.

Loses SSID broadcast . Not reliable
This device works and after an hour or less it stops broadcasting its ssid signal. I have a blink camera on it and device stopped connecting. I went baxk with my mobile to see, and indeed no wifi to see. Wifi returns after on/ off hard reset. But, same thing happens over and over. Totally not reliable. I read the same thing here also in orher reviews. I wish i had read them first beforr i bought. Hope seller can find a solution for this
