Marmite in a jar was fresh and delicious. Used as a spread on toast as well as a quarter teaspoon stirred into soup to enhance flavour.

It's true what others have written about the whole acquired taste bit. It does taste absolutely revolting, high in Salt and has a distinct taste of a concentrate soy sauce. A little goes a long way while consuming but you needn't suffer, a lot of people have eat it plain on toast (with or without butter), I suggest topping it with an egg preparation or chugging a water solution version of this.

It is an acquired taste but I like vegemite/marmite on my toasted bread.

We purchased this during pregnancy. It's imported and costly. I believe we can get equivalent products manufactured locally within India for cheaper price. It doesn't smell and taste good since it's yeast. It smells too much sour. You can purchase it considering the health benefits. I learnt that my grandmother took it during her pregnancy and we took it too. The product is good considering the impact it creates on health. We did not find any issues with health after taking this.

My experience was unlike a few others who unfortunately had some delivery issues. I am happy with the product and the delivery,1. I got a genuine original product.2. No spillage.3. No tampering.I have been consuming Marmite for quite some time now and I didn't experience any negative delivery issue. Hence would definitely consider ordering it once again on Amazon.

Had it once and waited for it to expire so I could throw it without guilt. It is supposed to be healthy but not my thing for sure. People say wait for it to grow on you, I’d say over my dead body, coz not in this lifetime.

I have had this product through out my childhood days and it is not available everywhere these days. Not everyone will like it. One has to acquire a taste for it so I cannot recommend it for everyone but it is very good for health. Has a full dose of B vitamins and it is a spread on toast.

1. It's not for everyone, it's not something yummy or like chocolate. A lot depends on whether one likes to try new flavors and how one uses it.2. Quantity is important. A spread on toast is fab but try a teaspoon-full, you will hate it for life.3. Smells a lot like B-complex capsules, extremely rich salty flavor.4. Packaging etc. Good. Delivery within a day.
