This is a super easy kit for beginners. It has the basic items you need to be able to start soldering. I am only knocking it down a star because it doesn’t come with a power supply and they didn’t label the resistors. If you are new you most likely will not have one to power it and you will have to look up the resistors to know what goes where. Other than these two issues it’s a great kit.

The media could not be loaded. I got a bag of parts... but with no documentation. The board is labeled, so you can at least know where to connect everything (just make sure to verify the resistor bands). I didn't know how much power it needed - or what the device was even supposed to do! I first tried 3V and then 4.5V. Nothing happened. When I connected 6V I saw all the LEDs faintly light up. When I connected 9V it seemed to finally come alive. This seems like a decent kit for learning. Nothing too difficult, no micro soldering, and no surface mounts. I even had my daughter do some of the soldering.
