Works Perfect!
slowly lost all my fan speeds in my trailblazer. i finally got tired of banging on the dash to get my defrost to work. installed this got all everything back. what a freaking life saver!

quick and easy to installed. delivery was quick as well. saved us a lot vs. going to mechanic.

Works but……
Works great and was a pretty easy install for the resister. The wiring harness however was a little difficult since they were all small gauge wiring which was much thicker than the OEM wiring so it was difficult splicing together.

FAERSI 89019100 HVAC Fan Blower Motor Resistor Kit
Received it last night and installed it this morning. Installed it on my 2006 Trailblazer 4.2 inline 6. So far it seems to be working just fine. It fixed my blower motor that was running even when I turned the ignition off. Came out to my garage in the morning and herd the blower motor running in my Blazer, it just started running by itself. I did not use the wire harness it comes with because I already changed it a few years ago when I had no number 5 on the speed control and the old harness was burned up.

Cheap part made cheaply....
Received Feb 28, it worked until April 23 then died. Didn't even get 2 months of use before it quit. Would not buy again

Product fixed issue
Easy to install once you get all the area under the glove box removed on my 2008 Trailblazer, just plug into existing sockets. Fan control worked fine after install.

It fit.....but
It's made in china so as usual, it's cheap but will work as a band aid for now. Has multiple mounting holes and comes with a new wiring harness. Bought this for an 2003 trailblazer. For this application the resistor is built 180 degrees out. You are required to mount it in the reverse of the original part which puts the wiring harness against the fire wall and requires you to reroute the plug for the fan from the rear to the front. Not a big deal but it just barely fits. It was 20 degrees and snowing when mine went out so that led to the wiring being very stiff, numb hands and some choice words but like I said, it will fit and did work. I should have pulled my fan to inspect for the reason for the original failure but that will wait til spring.
