After thorough review several radios I selected this and daily carrying during morning walking hearing music. The sound clarity is sharp. The LED light is super bright. The battery power remains for a week with outdoor solar charging alone. I find no frequency for hand cranking and USB charging. Above all what I specialize is the design! It is flat on both sides. No troubling projections. Both tuning and volume knobs are erected in hallow portion of the body which will get no physical damage. Control buttons are arranged on the top in body level. The alarm is capable of waking deep sleep persons. Tried my best to charge iPhone 4s and Samsung by hand crank. Charging icons function but percentage of battery level did not increase for myself. Many more aspects positive. I highly recommend this to all beyond doubt and hesitation.

I bought it several months ago to prepare me for the hurricane season. When hurricane Matthew started to churn up the eastern seaboard, I felt that I was prepared. It worked out well and lived up to all of its promises. I had no problems with it at all. I highly recommend it either as an emergency radio device or as something to take with you on vacation.

This radio was working when I took it out of the box I was impressed then and I'm still impressed with it now very nice product ....

Bought for BoB and in Fl for power outage if needed. I can see other uses such as camping or beach perhaps but that wasnt my purpose. Cranked it and it did its job. If ever comes the days I'd need it -days I hope don't come- I think I'll be glad I had this on hand. Time will tell but for this price it's good insurance to me.

Works wonderfully. Great sound. Charges fast

I give it only three stars for the simple reason it says 'no batteries ever needed.' But that is not quite the case since in order to power this up, you use a hand crank to generate power that is stored in an internal battery. I searched product info but there were no tips as to how best to preserve or maintain the life of this internal battery. E.G. leave it plugged in with the wall charger all the time? Completely discharge the battery during each use prior to re-charging? Etc. That information would be really helpful. Also, sometimes hard to get a clear radio signal, not sure if that has to do with interference in the city. Otherwise, this is a good product.

It's a great radio I don't know what more I can say other than the reception on it is good I am blind so I don't know how the alarm clock works butt the reception on his great thank you I don't know what more I can say on this review

Cette lampe dynamo est un produit très pratique, qui fait aussi radio et alarme.Le produit est bien fini, il correspond bien à la description.Le panneau solaire est un plus, mais c’est surtout la dynamo qui permet de recharger la batterie interne. Cette batterie peut aussi servir de batterie externe pour recharger son téléphone ou d’autres appareils.La lampe est assez puissante pour éclairer dans le noir, et la radio capte bien les stations.C’est un produit idéal pour le camping, la pêche ou pour le chantier.Je suis très content de cet achat, je le recommande.

Ich bin mit dem Gerät zufrieden und kann folgendes berichten:Es empfängt Radiosender gut (bei mir sogar im Betonkeller) und gibt das Programm in einer ausreichend guten Qualität wider, sodass man es auch gelegentlich für den normalen Radiokonsum nutzen kann. Nichts dolles, aber auch keine Blechkiste.Ergänzung: Die Batterie ist ein Akku Pack: 3x Ni-MH 2/3 AAA (3,6V 300mAh total) mit SteckerÜber beigelegte Kabel kann man an der kombinierten Ein-/Ausgangsbuchse das Radio laden und aus dem Radio heraus USB-Geräte laden oder betreiben. Eine kleine LED zeigt an, wenn auf dem Anschluss Spannung anliegt. Beim Laden externer Geräte ist das NUR wenn man kurbelt. Mein Handy zeigte im Versuch nur beim Kurbeln das Ladesymbol an.Das Radio fühlt sich wertig an und ist vertrauenserweckend schwer.Der wechselbare Akku des Gerätes befeuert laut Anleitung das Radio für 7-9h und die Taschenlampe für 4-6 Stunden. Der Kurbelgenerator soll 5W Leistung liefern. Damit sollte es möglich sein, ein sparsames Handy in ein paar Minuten für einen Notruf aufzuladen, oder aber auch das Radio selbst, um eine Nachrichtensendung zu hören.
