Great Ergo shape, lightweight, 8K polling rate buggy
Background:-I owe several 8k mice includung Razer viper V3 pro, Finalmouse ULX, WLmouse…- Tested on high-end PC: Ryzen 7950x3d, RTX 4090, 32 gb ramGood things:- Shape and weight: fills my large hands better than other ergo mice while is lightweight- Works flawless but up to 4K polling rate ( but not 8k, see below)- Responsive supportBad thing:- When on 8K polling rate suddenly freezes and dongle disconnects for a couple of seconds and then reconnects which renders 8k polling rate useless. I do not have this issue with any other 8k polling rate mice I have including cheaper ones! I suspect this is due to this mouse firmware incompatibility with Ryzen X3D cpu. Using 2 different cables, which comes with M64 pro mouse, and updating to latest firmware did not solve the issue as support suggested. Also, exchanging for another M64 pro mouse did not solve the bug. Support said they are investigating the issue. I am hoping they come up with a new firmware to solve this issue soon, then I will change my rating for 5 star. Otherwise, why pay extra money to purchase a mouse for a feature that is advertised for but does not work?!Sidenote: Intel processors may not experience the same issue as the 8k polling rate seems to be working fine on my 5 years old Intel laptop!
