I thought I’d like this power cutter a lot more than I actually do. In a nutshell, it’s weak and slow. The advantage this cutter has over a utility knife is that it doesn’t require a flat surface to press down on in order to cut, but it struggles with most things, and what doesn’t overwhelm it, still requires more time than a knife or scissors would need. Part of the speed issue is the very short bite with the jaw, using only a fraction of the entire cutting edge, which will lead to premature failure from the overuse of this small area. I could go on, but it’s best summarized by saying look elsewhere for a power cutter.
