2.1 QT Ice Cream Maker with Compressor, LCD Digital Display & Timer, No Pre-freezing, Automatic Electric Ice Cream Machine for Homemade Use

I have always wanted an ice cream machine that I don’t have to freeze the bowl. I bought this one and I’m in love. It’s a little heavier than expected but it runs great I did 3 batches of ice cream the classic Neapolitan and I have to say I’m extremely happy. Each batch took between 30-40 minutes and the flavor is so much better than store bought. I will be the ice cream girl this summer no doubt.

Update on my first review. The company has been excellent and standing fully behind their product and are now sending me a brand new machine.

I was so excited to get this unit and it worked amazingly well for two batches of ice cream. On my third attempt, despite following all usage and care instructions, the chamber would not get cold enough to freeze my ice cream base. There’s very little troubleshooting information in the manual besides increasing the processing time which does no good if it doesn’t get cold enough.

I love this unit. In the past I went with the cheap manual "put the cylinder in the freezer" type of ice cream maker, but in prep for launching a catering company with my partner, I decided to buy a more professional model where we can easily make 4-5 batches of frozen desserts per day. I just received the unit, but a few things really impressed me:1) The footprint is very manageable as it's more vertical than some of the other models I've seen. Counter space is always at a premium.2) The compressor got the unit cold super fast. I did a half batch of sorbet as my 1st test run and it finished within 30 minutes.3) The texture of the sorbet was perfect. Snowy more than icy, closer to Italian ice texture which is what I was after.4) Cleanup was easy, just let the canister thaw a bit then pull and rinse/wash.Again, this review is early days so I will come back if any comments on unit quality or functionality but so far I'm very pleased.

This machine works just fine and I am happy with it's function but I am not sure you can buy replacement parts. The paddle is plastic unlike some that are metal and if it breaks you might be out of luck. I put in an e-mail to the company and did not receive a response so far. I will update if I get a response or if they offer replacements on amazon.

It makes great ice cream like I enjoy in 35 minutes. Seems well made. Can't believe it works so fast. I make a fat free yogurt ice cream. Organic Strawberry preserves, some sugar, some almond milk. It's awesome and addictive.

Wow, have made several batches and machine works just fine to me.
