Hayden Automotive 3800 Dual Electric Fan Kit, Black

I put this in my 73 duster with the 26 in radiator (will not fit the 22 in radiator). The aftermarket radiator had raised mounts for a fan shroud that were only a 1/4 in off. I notched the mounts and it fits amazingly well. The mounts have a nice range of adjustment These 2 fans blow a good deal of air and they are not loud. Note that if you're wanting to run it as a puller, you'll have to flip the blade in addition to switching polarity - which is described in the instructions very well. It came set up as a pusher fan for AC condensers. I would definitely recommend.

I have these on a turbo ls swapped truck. Keeps it nice and cool.

I delayed writing a review as the fans worked great when first installed. Just took my first long road trip and drove through a rain storm at night. Following morning, the fans started smoking and popped the fuse shortly after. Complete junk. Nothing on the box or instructions said Hayden. If you buy these, you will likely buy a better set soon after.

I installed these in a 1970 Ford XL (full size convertible). And they work great! Used in conjunction with a thermostatic sending unit, they come on at the correct temperature and keep the 351 V8 engine cool while sitting in any traffic, even in hot summer weather. These have given me piece of mind while driving and sitting in beach traffic. Will definitely recommend and buy for other classic cars.

Fits fine. Not the problem. States includes mounting kit, including brackets however fails to state that it does NOT include the type of "through the radiator" plastic mounting "hardware". I guess that's why those are being sold as an extra. Something funny with the packaging too. I ordered the HAYDEN AUTOMOTIVE 3800 DUAL ELECTRIC FAN KIT. Ok, but why did it come in a plain white box, nothing on the fans indicate made/sold/marketed/distributed by Hayden, but the fans do have a Made in Thailand sticker? Also, the fans I got are slightly different from the picture, but in a good way. The plastic fan covers have a couple of tabs to hold the wiring that is not shown in the picture. Finally, on the UPS shipping label on the box is the return address cut out from the upper left corner? I can't help but believe there was some strange goings on with this sale. Got my suspicious nature awakened now.
