My husband loves freeze dried candy so when I saw these freeze dried crunchy candies I ordered them for him. They arrived packaged in a sealed plastic bag. My husband said that they are a light crunchy texture with the same great fruity taste as the name brand candy. He loves to snack on these at night when he gets a sweet tooth. On top of tasting great these candies are a great price. I have purchased him similar candies and they were almost double the price. Overall I am very impressed by these freeze dried crunchy candies.

They were just as strong and flavorful as regular skittles, but they had the consistency of a cereal Crunch Berry.Getting to try these was a unique experience; you go in expecting them to be like the chewy candy their smell is even identical. But you are greeted with an air puffed version that my first reaction and thought was, “This is so weird!”It made me giggle because they confused my brain. But it was a fun thing to try and I liked them!I will say I prefer the classic Skittles over these if I had to choose - the chewiness adds more than I previously realized. If there was a bag of regular candy skittles and these Freeze dried ones, while I would eat either or I would finish the full bag of classic skittle candies easily. Where these air dried ones I was done after having a handful.They arrived in good condition, the bag was sealed well, it had a tear off plastic top to open and pull across with a zip lock like seal for closure for leftovers.There was a lot of what I believe to be sugar collected in the bottom of the bag these arrived in. But the candy was intact, not crushed, or overly messy.If you are a fan of Skittles, I think these would be a fun item to try. But if you are looking to satisfy that craving for the chewy, fruity, classic Skittles candy we all know, I would get those instead!Or heck why not get both?

Shouldn't order freeze dried candy on line. It was so broken up it was mostly sugar powder. Under half a bag of the skittles candy. Taste good but will not order again.

I recently tried this freeze-dried candy and was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and crunchy it was. The resealable bag is convenient for keeping the candies fresh, and the half-pound size is perfect for sharing during movie nights or as a sweet treat. The mix of candies in the bag was a nice variety, and the candies had a satisfying crunch to them. Overall, a great value for the amount of candy you get!

These arrived with a lot of powder/sugar/remnants in the bag. We poured this bag into a colander to try to remove some of that so that the kids could enjoy the candies.We have had a lot of these freeze dried candies and I think these fall right in the middle. They are not as airy and crisp as some, but they do have a bright, fruit taste that the kids really loved.We did transfer these to a smaller container since exposure to air makes these stale quickly.I think that a little better quality control would help in removing all of this residue powder/sugar/remnants. I have never seen this happen, so it was really odd. Outside of that, these seemed to need just a little more time freeze drying but they were still good. An overall okay choice.
