Small size and weight, big performance
I like the size and weight. I am using this dehumidifer in an enclosed, sealed roof, attic space. The roof sealing is a closed foam application, that prevents inner and outer air mixing. Temperatures stay low but humidity held at 60-75% rel humidity. This small unit took that attic space (approx 40 x 50 x 4 feet high space) and overnight dropped the rel humidity from 72% to 50%. The dehumidifer has a small inner pump that efficiently empties into a drain line to the outside. Super performance, relatively quiet, and well constructed. I have owned dehumidifiers from at least two other companies, and this one is the best so far. Good value for the money, has the add-on of a remote controller screen (RJ-45, 16 feet) that one’s not come with the unit. I plan to get one, just because I otherwise have to crawl into the attic to monitor or modify. Available from BaseAire website. Summary: 1/3 the cost of my most recent other dehumidifier, in-unit pump (unusual), easy to follow instructions.

Great customer service
Works well. Great customer support. It arrived on time and in good condition. It is packaged very well. It’s a heavy component so you might need help getting it into it’s space. It started right up and lowered the humidity in 1000 sq/ft garage pretty quickly. But the fan and compressor kept running well below my set point. After talking to customer service, a real person on the phone, then email with tech support, they decided to send a new humidity sensor. It arrived quickly and was easy to install. The humidity reading on the machine is much closer to the instrument I have in the space. And it is keeping the humidity level very close to the set point.

works well
The dehumidifier I had used for ten years suddenly broke down, so I purchased this model. It claims to cover an area of 1,000 square feet, which is just the right size for my crawl space. Based on my current experience, the dehumidification and drainage capabilities are generally satisfactory. There’s a slight noise when it starts up, but since I installed it right below the kitchen, it doesn’t bother us. However, families sensitive to noise should avoid placing it directly under bedrooms. I installed it myself, and it was a bit heavy to move. If your crawl space is narrow, keep that in mind.

Leaking after 6 months and 1 week
Has been running in pump drain mode. While we were on vacation something broke - condensation filled up the bottom of the unit and started leaking out the corners. Didn't stop running, didn't error.

very unimpressed. too weak, way too expensive, not quiet
I'm not impressed. ESPECIALLY for the price. Poor value. This thing runs constantly and can't even keep 40% humidity in a 12x16 basement utility room with ANOTHER dehumidifier also running. And it isn't even summer yet. And it is not that quiet. I get better dehumidification out of a 15 year old unit in my 22x28 double garage.

Small and powerful
First thing: overall fantastic with humidity, I’ve never had a problem once I have this running. The smaller size makes it easy to move and it functions great even in larger areas. The size makes it great to set up, the sound level isn’t distracting, just a really great option overall, especially at the price.

Works great
This dehumidifier works great. I live in a very wet area and was looking for a good dehumidifier for my basement and found this one and it has been working awesome. It pulls all of the moisture out of the air and has made my basement very dry which I need because we want to install carpets down there. It is nice and quiet too and super easy to use!

Where are the instructions?
No instructions with the dehumidifier. At the very least there should've been website or video link to help you know how to operate it.
