I recently purchased this 72-piece wooden train set for my daughter, and she absolutely loves it! Good material, easy to assemble, kids like it so much！

I purchased this wooden train set as a Christmas present for my friend’s 3-year-old son. This definitely is a fantastic holiday gift! The craftsmanship is excellent, with smooth, durable pieces and vibrant, child-safe paints. It also encourages imaginative play for kids from 3–8. The festive color makes it perfect for Christmas season. A timeless, high-quality gift that’s sure to delight!

This train set is so flimsy that the pieces don’t even stay on the support beams. It’s difficult to play with because the tracks just fall away from each other. The train goes so fast, which makes the tracks break apart as well. Not a brand I’d go with especially for nearly $50. I’ve had styrofoam that had more weight to it…

The red “rescue” train and car are thin plastic. The magnets don’t hold well and the engine has weird wheels that causes the track to come apart. Some of the track pieces are also plastic and separate from the other pieces easily. I thought the city and construction scapes were a cool idea but they are just cardboard where plastic or a lamination would be more resilient. Keep these points in mind when assessing the value of this purchase.

Directions are a little hard to follow- on paper pieces are labeled with letters, but actual pieces have no labeling what so ever

Hate the screws. Completely obliterated the screw to open the train cap where the batteries go. Why would they make the screws so small? Even my smallest screw driver couldn’t fit in there. Bummer I couldn’t even try the battery operated train. Other than that, pretty good.
