More bronze color than bright gold

Used this for some home improvements to match the other brass I have. Worked perfectly!

The consistency is similar to other metallic acrylic paints I use, but like most others you need two or sometimes 3 coats to get a good coverage of the item being painted. I do think the coloring and type of reflectiveness of the paint makes it more of an aged bronze over a real brass color. It isn't that I don't like it, it just has a base grey-green behind it that doesn't lend to a true brass color. There is a lot of this and painting various 3d prints I'm sure there are quite a few places I can use it. I haven't tried mixing it yet, but most paints mix to some degree. Overall it seems to be a decent paint, I just don't agree with the color description.

Got it outside my door and I was happy when I saw color it’s kind of forest green gorgeous brass green on a warmer side gorgeous I painted glass jar of tomato to make a vase and guess what else ? ! Shocking but I painted sink faucet stunning

I tested the color on an appliqué and it’s amazing! Definitely has an army green tint to it but I actually like it this way

I do a lot of projects and I always love to have some kind of metallic paint to hand. I ordered this as I do not have any paint in a brass color. This arrived intact. The paint pot was sealed with an aluminum type cover under the lid. This was a little awkward to remove as bits of the metal was left on the edges of the pot. The paint itself is quite thick but a nice workable thickness not watery at all. As with any water based paint if this does get thicker over time you can always add a very tiny bit of water which will thin the paint out to make it workable again. I used an odd piece of white cardboard to test this paint. As with most metallics they can be a little translucent so I do find it is best to use a solid color as the first coat and then use the metallic over that (in this case I would have ideally painted a dark green and added this paint on top to get a true luchious finish). The picture of the open paint pot is the closest to the true color. As mentioned in the listing this paint can be used on various types of surfaces. I do think the price is quite reasonable considering how much you get and a little goes a long way.
