Presuming / hopeful that it will last. Fit&finish similar to OEM. Functions correctly. Will find out over time about lifespan/ durability.

Everything pretty much went into place and then I went to put the connector into the alternator and it just would not fit I even tried to trim down my connector to no avail it was too damn small. Yet when I purchased it said that alternator was exactly the right one universal but I guess that's if you want to change the entire wiring coming from now battery harnesses, no thank you! I don't know what they are thinking it is a good buy for those who have it in the right size and configuration but definitely wasn't the right connector size. Needless to say I had to send back go AutoZone for a duralast at twice the price pretty much. Thanks Amazon, and I got to wait at the most 30 days for my money to be refunded? They took my money pretty damn quick I would think once they get their product back it's in good shape I didn't do nothing to it lol .. besides find out it doesn't fit as promised whoopsie.. I really would like my money within two day prime 2-day money. My money is taking pretty instantly. Just watch what you buy especially when it comes to car parts guys and gals. All I have is a picture of my old alternator which was shot but the new one fit right in except for the dang connector which you can see it's kind of rectangular next to the power screw where you see wires heading back...the tail feather that connector would not fit from the Amazon alternator it was too big by about 1mm.. 😔. Takes forever to get my money back they get theirs overnight. I didn't damage their product if anything they might have damaged my vehicle.

I needed this in a pinch and only bought it for a temporary use. As it is, now, it's been on for several months and I have yet to put my full-time alternator back on. Very wise investment for the dollar. I actually know the guys at DB Electrical and although this is their cheap line, this is certainly better than taking a gamble at a "big name" parts store.

I purchased this alternator due to the fact that it was half the cost than almost every parts store I contacted, and lets face it, everyone is looking for a deal like that at some point. ill be honest, I was expecting it to last about six months, and then when it did go out I would have to spend some more cash and get another. fortunately, ive had it for about a year and a half now and it has yet to miss a beat. I am even more so impressed with this product because my car is not entirely stock. I have 3 monitors and an amplifier that puts a strain on this thing on a daily basis, and yet its still kicking. if you're having thoughts about how long this product will last, I can tell you first hand it has been for me. As for instillation, it was a breeze in my 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis, however, ive been a mechanic at a ford dealership for a little over 3 years, so take that with a grain of salt. Great product!

Looks like a very nice, brand new alternator. Unfortunately it DID NOT fit my 2002 Mercury Grand Markie. The mechanic said the plug was wrong.
