A timeless classic of a game that has sparked interest in my 9-year-old boy and my12-year-old girl. I had been struggling to get them out into the garden in lockdown, even in fine weather. But they love this game! Also, it is well-made, tasteful, and comes beautifully packaged. Plus it is nice to support an established, traditional English firm. I highly recommend this game and will buy other products from this company.

I bought this as a garden and indoor toy for our Great Grandchildren aged 7 and 4. They both love it and found it so easy to use. My 7 year old G.Grandson loves doing the mental arithmetic of adding up the scores, his younger sister is happy that she can play this game too.It's another great game from Jaques of London, previous one was wooden quoits, again, helps with adding up, as the children learn through play. Highly reccomend.

Great garden game. Sturdy and no issues with quality.

I’m pleased with the games and my review reflects this. The target and balls are good quality. Sadly the inner cushion was faulty and I was unable to inflate it. I patched up the hole but it still deflates slowly and had to be re-inflated frequently.

I was looking for a family garden game , looked at all the reviews , this was an impressive 4.5 . Some negative reviews regarding quality which is always of putting but the positive reviews more than compensated , so decided to order , I was not disappointed, delivery super fast, item beautifully packed , put it up with ease for our daughters wedding party in her back garden, everyone enjoyed playing our version of the game ! I would recommend putting the game when not in use generally as this does extend garden items , stops sun damage etc this game a perfect 5

Determined to give my children every reason to play outside and not on technology I ordered a lot of outdoor games this summer. One of my purchases was this target game from Jacques. Beautifully presented in a ribboned box the game was set up in minutes (you will need an inflatable/bike pump for the inner ring) and the children flocked to it. It’s popular! Whilst they squeal with laughter I’m happy. It helps with their throwing skills and hand to eye co-ordination so nothing not to like. It can be hung anywhere or placed on the ground. The balls stick well to the target so far.

This game is fantastic, but after a single use the fuzzy felt started coming apart on two of the tennis balls. I contacted Jaques of London directly and they immediately sent me some replacement balls. A few days later I tried the game again and I noticed that where the strap you hang the came from attaches to the main target, the target was tearing under the stress. I was so disappointed because you think of quality when you think of Jaques of London and that is why I chose their product over the competition.That all being said, Jaques of London's customer service lived up to and exceeded my expectations. Not only did they refund me for the game but they were so disappointed for me and the experience I had had they sent me a replacement for free. That's 5* customer service, and the reason why I will continue to buy their products.So far I haven't tried the new game. It's still in its box. The original game is now hanging from the shorter handle strap and has been kept out in my garden during a variety of weather conditions and it has held up well. I think I was just unlucky with the game and I trust the new one in the box will be of better quality.I do recommend the game, but don't buy it and leave it in the box unused. Make sure you play it whilst it's fairly new in case you have problems.Oh and one last thing, the rules are crazy. I think it says it's the first person to get to 300 wins. We made up our own rules which work much better which is working your way down to zero from 750. When your score is under 50 the bulls eye value changes to 10 from 100. If you go bust you have to start at the same score on the next turn.Enjoy

I love this garden toy. It arrived promptly as expected. The packaging is really lovely. The personal touch of the handwritten business card inside is sweet and appealing. I like this company. I have never bought from them before but will definitely buy more from them in the future as my children (currently 3yrs and 6yrs) get older. Right now, I am not sure that many of their other products would suit children this young. But the quality of the toy is excellent, the ease of storage and 'assembly' is unquestioned and the after-sales email from the company is a lovely touch. Well done. I definitely recommend!
