Waterman Tender Purple Fountain Pen Ink, Premium Quality 50ml Bottle, 1.69 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

First time trying waterman’s inks and I am beyond impressed so far. Extremely easy to use and writes right away after being filled up. Other inks I’ve tried (even more expensive brands) took a while before they would start writing. It’s a thinner formula so the ink won’t Pool and give different tones with up and down strokes but it’s still a very beautiful color. I’ll update after a few weeks to see if it dries up and clogs the nib or not. Given how thin the formula is I don't think it’ll be a problem as I usually only have that issue with thicker inks. I think I’ll probably be getting a couple more colors to add to my collection for daily use

I really like the ink, it's a great color and flows from the pen well. However, even though I purchased a NEW bottle of ink, I received a bottle that had obviously been opened. The box was beaten up and re-taped, and there were marks of spilled ink on the inside of the box. It didn't look like there was much missing, so I decided to keep it and use it rather than returning, but very disappointed that it was not new as advertised.

It seems that Waterman's ink quality is getting even better. I got the purple color and the depth of richness makes it a pleasure to use and makes me proud to use on my cards and letters I generally use one of those large syringes to fill ink cartridges which I prefer rather than using the refill converter most pens include.You cannot go wrong with the quality Waterman provides.

I love this ink. This is the first time I've used this brand's ink, and the color is pretty. It writes evenly, and it seems to dry faster than other inks.

The blue is toned down enough not to be intrusive while writing, and the ink writes smoothly. It dries faster than my Lamy Inks, but it has more bleed. If you want a subtle ink that is nice to look at, get it.

Lovely color, but it seems to bleed no matter what paper I use it on, including fountain pen paper. My pens are medium nibs so maybe it works better with a fine or extra fine nib?Will probably get something else next time.

Wonderful ink, of course. I was sent Serenity Blue instead of Mysterious Blue. Not worth the hassle of returning; it’s also a lovely color, and the same thing might happen again if I reorder. Ah well.

Premessa: scrivo tanto, è uno dei miei hobby più rilassanti. Ho inchiostri per ogni occasione, dai più pregiati destinati a lettere o composizioni speciali ai quotidiani con cui riempio pagine e pagine di appunti, pensieri, storie e altro. Questo Waterman si colloca sicuramente in quest'ultima categoria: un inchiostro da battaglia che scelsi più che altro come alternativa ad un altro Waterman, l'"Absolute Brown" che per quanto bello aveva iniziato a stancarmi. Che dire: non prendevo una cotta così potente da quando chiesi alla biondina della mia classe se voleva uscire con me! E avevo solo 15 anni...Partiamo dal nome: che significa "Blu Misterioso"? È un mistero...L'inchiostro è ben lubrificato, scorre che è un piacere. Di solito uso penne grasse dal flusso abbondante che, teoricamente, potrebbero darmi qualche problema nella gestione di questo tipo di inchiostri. Eppure il Blu Misterioso non mi ha mai tradito; dopo chilometri di tratti mai una macchia, mai uno sconfinamento nel retro di una pagina. Le penne si puliscono quasi da sole dopo l'utilizzo intensivo di questo Waterman e non lascia mai impurità, neanche dopo lunghi periodi di inattività. Le partenze sono veloci, non ci sono interruzioni di tratti, i pennini flessibili si muovono come farfalle sulla carta quando usano questo inchiostro. È praticamente perfetto, sembra sia stato studiato per la mia mano!A volte lo preferisco persino alla serie Edelstein anche se, va detto, da inchiostro economico non ha nessuna sfumatura o effetto particolare. Riempire pagine e pagine con questo Waterman è un piacere che la tua mano apprezzerà; ma per composizioni particolari, dove magari si vuole dare quel tocco di classe in più giocando sulla dimensione del tratto, sui cambi di tonalità ecc. il Blu Misterioso risulta abbastanza piatto.Si dice (ed è vero) che a parità di marca i blu siano gli inchiostri qualitativamente migliori. Consigliato per tutti quelli che vogliono sperimentare altre tonalità al di là dei soliti "blu scolastici" (il Royal Blu per intenderci), molto belli ma un po' inflazionati, per tutti quelli che cercano un inchiostro affidabile o semplicemente per chi scrive "di tanto in tanto". La vostra penna ne sarà contenta.Io l'ho amato già dalle prime parole, e l'ho usato anche in alcune situazioni in cui di solito mi affidavo agli Edelstein ricevendo complimenti per la scelta.Chiudo con un aspetto negativo comune a tutti i Waterman: più si scrive e più tendono a cambiare colore. Le prime parole hanno sempre tonalità sature e contrastate, già a metà foglio sembra di usare un inchiostro diluito con l'acqua. Se dovete scrivere qualcosa di importante riempite un taccuino con ghirigori finché non si stabilizza il colore prima di iniziare a comporre...

Ca change un peu d'utiliser du rouge, ça fait 'prof'.L'encre a jolie couleur, pas trop vive, pas trop mate.J'aime bien.

Ink is okay (I usually use Noodlers bulletproof as I need water resistant ink); I use this ink for casual writing. The bottle design, however, is genius. Angled flat sides allow you to tilt and rest the bottle on the side for easy filling when the bottle is less full. I keep and reuse the bottle with my favourite ink.

Ein schönes, klassisches, ins Rötliche gehendes Braun. Die Tinte ist weder sonderlich nass noch sonderlich trocken, schmiert nicht, krümelt nicht, trocknet relativ schnell.Sie hat etwas Shading, das allerdings erst mit breiteren Federn und auf gutem Papier wirklich zum Vorschein kommt. Die Schrift im Bild stammt aus einer F-Feder, das Papier ist das vielleicht Shadingfreundlichste überhaupt: Das alte Tomoe River 52 g/qm (in ivory).Sheen hat die Tinte nicht.Irgendein Rezensent hier war enttäuscht vom vermeintlich fehlenden Rotstich. Der Rotstich ist bei dieser Tinte jedoch ganz eindeutig vorhanden. Es gibt ohnehin kaum braune Tinten ohne Rotstich. Natürlich legen manche Füller einen derart satten Strich auf das Papier, dass die Tinte zu dunkel wirkt, um noch einen Rotstich erkennen zu können. Dafür kann die Tinte nichts.Ähnlich wie bei der Rezensentin der grünen Waterman-Tinte, die schrieb, das Grün ginge schon ins Schwarz. Tatsächlich ist es ein recht strahlendes, leicht ins Bläuliche gehendes Grün. Ich habe die grüne Tinte selbst, meist in mehreren Füllern gleichzeitig, weil ich das Grün sehr mag. Mit keinem meiner Füller geht sie aber auch nur annähernd ins Schwarze.Es kommt wirklich immer darauf an, wie satt der Tintenstrich ist.Das Tolle an den Waterman-Tinten ist - neben dem wirklich guten Preis und dem sehr brauchbaren Tintenglas - dass sie sehr füllerfreundlich sind und auch empfindlichen alten/antiken Füllern nicht gefährlich werden.Ich kann Absolute Brown von Waterman wirklich empfehlen. Es gibt raffiniertere braune Tinten mit mehr Shading (z.B. Robert Oster‘s „Caffe Crema“) oder sogar mit etwas Sheen (z.B. Lamy Crystal Topaz). Und natürlich gibt es unendlich viele verschiedene Brauntöne, aus denen jeder seinen eigenen Favoriten wählen kann. Aber diese Tinte hier hat ein schönes „Brot-und-Butter“ - Braun. Nichts Spektakuläres also, einfach ein Braun, das den meisten gefallen wird. Ich mag es z.B. für das Schreiben von Briefen, da diese Tinte das Auge nicht irritiert und somit nicht vom Inhalt des Geschriebenen ablenkt.Habe gerade wieder ein Glas nachbestellt, da mein jetziges Glas langsam leer wird und ich nie ohne diese Tinte sein will - obwohl ich noch viele andere braune Tinten habe, von denen die meisten deutlich teurer sind als die von Waterman.

Antes que nada, debo comentar que existe la posibilidad de que a mí me haya tocado una botella que traía tinta en mal estado. Pero definitivamente no pasó ninguna de las pruebas que le hice.He tenido plumas fuente por muchos, muchos años. He usado muchas marcas diferentes, y por lo mismo diferentes marcas de tintas. Nunca me había tocado una tan mala como ésta. No escribió bien con ninguna de las varias plumas con las que fue probada. Al escribir, sus letras tienen diferente grosor de tinta, diferente intensidad de tinta, y no puede pintar ni siquiera una línea completa que no se vea despintada en casi toda la línea, y luego con tinta "encharcada" al final.La quería para una pluma nueva Parker de punto fino para llenado de formatos. Pero escribió muy mal con esa. Incluso la probé con mi mejor pluma punto mediano —una pluma alemana que compré hace como unos 25 años— que utilizo únicamente para firmar pues su trazo es grueso y muy parejo. Pero los pésimos resultados incluso con esa pluma los pueden ver en la captura que estoy adjuntando.Reitero que si otros opinan que les salió muy buena, no es imposible que yo haya recibido una botella extrañamente en mal estado. Pero es la primera vez que me pasa en muchas décadas y mi experiencia no fue nada buena.
