Q: will this carry a makita 36 v rear handle circular saw?

Not very likely. It's designed for hand tools and small pieces of test gear. It has a middle divider so depending on the size of the saw, it isn't likely to fit. That said, the company that makes these sell different panel/inserts without pockets that are designed to allow larger items to fit. Without knowing how large the saw is, it's not possible to give a firm answer though.

Q: Any tall people use this yet? Is the handle long enough to keep it from bouncing off your heels?

I'm 5'11" and don't have that issue with either of my Veto Pro Pac Wheelers as I've had with other tool bag wheelers. The handle extends past my waist and has excellent center of gravity. No more shoulder strain like I have with Milwaukee Pack out wheeler. Hope this helps. Note, it's a great tool bag and you can return it if it's not to your liking.
