This tool is amazing!
So, I didn't purchase this grinder to grind meat in. I purchased it to grind up fruits and vegetables so that I could make my mother's dressing recipe for Thanksgiving this year, which includes apples, oranges, green peppers and onions. It did a fabulous job grinding up those food items. Putting the grinder together was so easy. The suction it had against my kitchen countertop was unbelievable! The thing didn't budge at all. Taking it apart (carefully!) and cleaning it was so effortless, too. I've used it only once thus far so I can't give a true review on its long-term performance but as solid as it feels it is made, I am sure I'll be using this grinder for years to come. The handle works smoothly. The entire piece is flawless, in my eyes. I'm very happy and content with my purchase of this grinder.

Good manual meat grinder
This meat grinder is well made. I had an electric powered Tasin for many years. I downsized and recently discovered the need to have a meat grinder. The mechanism is the same heavy duty construction of my Tasin. The pin to attach the handle is kind of fickle. The suction cup is ONLY functional on totally smooth surfaces. IE granite, corian, marble. Not tile like I have. The cup is bigger than my 4” counter tile. I tried my wooden cutting block, no luck. I finally found a smooth glass cutting board to stick it to. It also comes with a clamp but my counters are too shallow to accommodate it- come to think of it the last 2 kitchens I had didn’t have a counter ‘lip’ deep enough to make utility of the clamp. With that said the grinder works well. I bought it to grind chicken for my cat. ( I love my cat, I make him a raw diet.) I do NOT put bones through it like I did my Tasin. It is easy to assemble and disassemble to clean. The disc on my old Tasin got surface rust from the get go. It never increased or affected performance. I don’t slather my grinder in oil- I want it clean. I always lay out my grinder pieces individually overnight to air dry before re assembly. This grinder is well made and overall worth the money. I plan on having it for many years to come.

Great appliance
I hesitated to purchase this grinder since you can get some cheap electric ones for less than half the money. I have used electric grinders and they were always annoying to the point of being unpleasant due to the loud noise that comes from the many whining gears that are needed to generate the power and slow speed and of the auger. They are also very bulky and take up cabinet space when not in use, which of course is most of the time.In contrast, this manual grinder is compact, completely silent and a pleasure to use. Every part of the unit, except the separate plastic feed tray, impresses you with heft and high quality. (I didn’t see any need for the feed tray anyway. ) The grinder is polished to a high shine, but unfortunately only on the outside. This is a bit of a disappointment, since it is the inside that contacts the food. The rough inside surfaces produce more resistance to the meat that is going through the auger and makes the cleaning a bit more difficult (cleaning the inside of any grinder is difficult as it is). Still cleaning stainless beats doing it to any other material.I had worried about the strength of the suction attachment to the underlying surface, but again was thoroughly impressed with how well it worked. Obviously the surface must be clean and very smooth like a stone countertop. Before use, I take off the rubber suction cup and cool the grinder in the freezer for half an hour. The crank provides plenty of leverage and makes the grinding easy and quick. This is one of those kitchen toys that you are looking for an excuse to use.

Very very happy with this grinder!
I have now used this grinder twice, using both sizes of grinder plates.I'm exceedingly pleased with this product! It's very well made. It assembles and disassembled easily. The suction is very very strong. My advice is to make sure you are also using the clamp to ensure no movement. We followed manufacturers instructions and have made sure the meat is cold before grinding amd oiled the grinder with a food grade oil. I've used beef and pork, I have not tried poultry yet.I'm very very happy with this grinder.

Good product
This is an awesome grinder. Only reason the easy to clean didn’t get five stars is because getting my hand up where the auger goes to clean. Don’t have a brush to get up there but it still cleans up nice and easy comparatively. I’m very happy with it.

Great Little Grinder
There was difficulty keeping it stable on the countertop with a glass cutting board. The grinder was transferred to a small folding table, and it worked like a dream. It is stainless steel, unlike the aluminum electric units that we used in the past that tarnished and had a dark residue that tainted the meat. Every part was washed in the dishwasher. Chicken breasts were ground and made into patties. It was a successful purchase for us, using chicken breasts.

Bottom half of base too small. Wobbles making it not usable.
The bottom base too small. Wobbles making it not usable. The only way this worked for us is to have one person hold down the grinder while another person cranked the handle. I think the base and suction are great however the bottom half that clamps underneath is too small. This causes so much wobbling when using the grinder. Probably okay for grinding softer foods. No to much for grinding meat.
