Johnstone's 306755 Matt Emulsion Paint, Brilliant White, 5 l (Pack of 1)

The paint it self is fine, but on opening the box which the tub was in, there was a fair bit of paint leakage inside the box. The lid had a kink so it was not sealed properly.

Huge tin of paint arrived broken and exploded all over the carpet as soon as I started to open the box. Needed to hire a carpet cleaner and completely unseable paint, so a very expensive buy!! Emailed the seller (Johnson’s) with no reply and they won’t refund me until I send back the original. It’s all over my carpet and the tin it’s disgusting so can’t do that. Do not buy from this seller, it’s cost me a fortune and they can’t even bother to respond to an email.

This is good paint. I used to always buy the more expensive bigger brand but since switching to this I have been impressed.It is every bit as good as Dulux.It has a nice consistency, covers well and the brushes are easy to clean.It's a good price and come very securely packaged so no dents or spills.Love this paint.

Parcel left at rear of property upside down. On opening, product was damaged. lid burst and paint spilled inside packaging. Replacement arrived. on opening same again. Lid popped at one side and paint dripping.Outer package not damaged at all. Suggest using the same cushioning that is at the base of the paint tub on the top as well, to protect top and bottom.

Arrived broken and checking the other reviews seem to be normal for them, and they didn't made any changes in packaging their item which is actually the issue.In order to be a 5***** seller, I think that the customers should have te option to replace, not just return the item and then reorder it (I don't know if they take advice, but using for top something similar as the base support, would be the solution)It's not ok because of vasted paint and everything gets dirty before even start painting, and I was lucky because I didn't open it in the carpet. I wanted a replacement to save my time, but just the return option was possible.Otherwise the paint is good and has good coverage.

This paint is poor quality - very thin and cheap, requiring several coats. In addition it is cream rather than white. Certainly no 'Brilliant White'. Lastly the paint arrived very poorly packaged and had split in transit, meaning it needed a clean up (handle broken too) before we could use it. Not recommended.

Delivery was on time as always but left outside our property in pouring rain which is very unusual as Amazon deliver regularly
