Excellent!
These female barrel ends are nice and fit the input male side very well and secure. Previously I was using the rubber prewired pigtail ends for my custom lightboxes I laser cut and sell. But I had to glue those in place the wire they came with was fairly cheap. That being said these do need to be soldered with your own wire, but the fit and finish and fact they are very secure is well worth the hassle. I will be purchasing these from now on if the price stays the same.

I build qrp ham radios and other electronic radio projects
These are perfect standard sized power sockets for me to give the case I choose to use a power plug so i can power my shortwave radios with an external battery or a wall wart. Just having the right power socket makes it look much more professional, as having an internal 9 or 12 volt battery takes up much more space and i often leave one out on some smaller radios, But when i am using an external battery pack, it will extend my internal battery time if I do include them. The last 40 meter shortwave transceiver I built, now looks just like a one quarter sized CB radio, but it's size will easily fit a coat or jacket pocket.

Great DC Power Sockets
I used them in test apparatuses to connect a 12VDC source to the test box. They were perfect for what I used them for.

Good but with caution about sizing.
These seem to work well for my application although the center pin seems wider than other connectors that are supposedly the same size. Use with caution if your plug has tight tolerances.I note that other reviews have suggested that the size might actually be 5.5 x 2.5mm.

Does not fit barrel jacks
I use standard 2.1mm jacks from common power supplies. But these jacks do not allow the plug to go in the hole. While they appear to be well made and solid, they just don't work. I could not get any 2.1mm plug to go in. Wasted my money

2.5mm not 2.1mm
They work but the description is wrong. These are 2.5mm pin not the 2.1mm pin. I’ll have to order 2.5mm plugs

Solidly Built
These connectors are great, perfect fit, solidly built. I've installed a few in some custom enclosures, they work great!
