Perfect for my ESL student
My student is an adult, and reads at about a fifth grade level. It's hard to find material that is both age-appropriate and accessible for an adult working on ESL. This book is great for her -- in one chapter, maybe ten or fifteen words need to be looked up and practiced. The story is so much better for an adult learner than fairy tales or other books for kids.

Ideal for purpose
I bought this book to read to a group of 8 and 9 year olds about how it might feel to not be able to see. The book was ideal. Great length and kept their interest right until the end. I have other versions of this story but this one suited the age group perfectly.

Great read
Wonderful quick history of a remarkable woman. Perfect for my 10 year old granddaughter. I would recommend it highly to other tweens.

Great For New Readers
I bought this book for my son whose in the 2nd grade. He was very intrigued by Helen Keller just from our conversations about people with disabilities and impairments. But the book added a much more in depth perception for him, with a perfect comprehensive level for a 2nd grader and up.
