Strong magnenet
Good magnet, very strong. Dont put this flat on a ferrous surface unless you have a plan to get it off. It's definitely as strong as advertised, works great for my intended use.

Fun
I bought 2 of these for something for me and my brother to do together and it's a lot of fun to try and magnet fish. We were unable to find much other than some nuts and bolts, but that's just cause of where we were i tested out the magnet On a few different things and it's pretty strong, but it could definitely be stronger.I like the fact that the cord that it comes with is nice and bright, so it's easy to find. The gloves that it came with are pretty decent. Good to have when you're handling metal and rusty items. And the case that it comes with is nice to put everything back into, so you don't get back to your vehicle all dirty and wet.Very happy with my purchase. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 star review is because of the fact that the magnet could be a little bit stronger.

MAGnificent
Let me tell you about this magnet, it is a life saver. Yeah, yeah, yeah; I fished many things out of many rivers, blah, blah, blah. Yadda, yadda, yada... What really sold me on this thing was what happened a few weeks ago. I was drinking beer and fishing right there at our 'local' park which had a few lakes surrounding it. Nice skate ramp there too, I notice because I skated in my youth and love seeing all the new parks popping up. It's RAD.Anyway, long story longer, we were walking back to the Van and saw someone had hopped in and starting driving away. We live in the country and leave keys in things round here. Oops. So my mind flipped and I realized I had the magnet and rope still in hand, peered out a kids skateboard and got after it. I lasso'ed the rope and slung it towards the Van. The magnet flew through the air and hit the back door and stuck with a thud! The line screamed taught and off I went on the board. It was an old skool board too so it held up well as the driver saw what was up and started speeding and swerving... It was crazy, Gotta love a Lance Mountain. As the van fled and turned I had to ollie up on curbs and grind long distances just to stay upright! So after I don't know after how many miles of some Tony Hawk pro skater stuff that would make skate or die Lester proud; the Van finally ran out of gas and the culprit jumped out and ran away after giving me a look of respect and admiration... I let him go, was just glad to get the Van back... Always gotta stand by your van... It's Sublime...Anywho, short story shorter; the magnet held through all that and this is one of the best magnets in the world!!!

Mediocre
Okay size, too easy to remove stuff from them, magnet strength I’d mediocre at best, line strength is mediocre as well, weight capacity is nowhere near that listed, easy to use for the kids to throw a magnet into the water and get some bolts or bottle caps or something.

Magent is strong!
UPDATE: The magnet is indeed super strong. The seller contacted me and offered a full refund for my initially dissatisfied review. They then sent a follow-up reply to my review attempt to stick it to a refrigerator indicating the thin metal on the refrigerator was the culprit. I stuck the magnet to an iron I-beam in my house and was able to do pull-ups on it, and I'm over 200lbs. So the magnet is strong if put on a substantial piece of metal. This makes total sense and I guess I learned something new today!Seller response to original review: We are very sorry for the unpleasant experience you had while using the product. We have found that you stated that the product cannot lift the refrigerator because the surface of the refrigerator is only covered with a thin layer of iron sheet, so the actual lifting weight that can be achieved is slightly lower. The magnetic force is related to the thickness and angle of the iron sheet. You can try using a 30mm thick iron sheet to test the magnetic force. We would like to help you solve any problems, If you need any help, please feel free to contact us at any time. Thank you!Original review: This is nowhere near a 400lb pulling force. Stuck it to the refrigerator and it wasn’t even strong enough to pull the door open without coming off. Useless.
